Learning outcomes: • automatics need to know object of power, performance principles and calculations relay setpoints starting automation devices; • know the principles of harmonization of automation systems of relay protection and power system regulators facilities; • know the principles of coding and quantization information signals provide immunity for their transfer to a distance; • be able to design basic circuits of different automation systems;

Summary of the subject: Classification of automatic equipment of electric networks. Automatically enable synchronous machines and parts of energy systems. Automatic re-enabled. Automatically turn on backup power equipment. Automatic frequency discharge power systems. The automated control systems.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports of laboratory and computational work, oral examination (40%) • final control - exam: written and oral form (60%)
