Learning outcomes: • know the tasks and methodology of energy audit, determining the potential for energy savings, measures to improve energy efficiency at the facility and methods of their feasibility study; • be able to conduct energy audits of facilities, develop and justify recommendations for energy efficiency.
Required prior and related subjects: • physics, • basics of heat engineering, • basics of renewable energy.
Summary of the subject: Methodology of energy audit, energy inspection of the facility, assessment of the level of energy consumption energy flows at the facility, development and justification of measures to improve energy efficiency by end users, distribution systems and energy conversion facilities.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Oral questioning (40%), • Final control (control measure – test): written and oral form (60%).
