Learning outcomes: the formation of knowledge about the principles and methods of biotechnology as a science and bioindustry for the production of biotechnological products and for the implementation of innovative projects; -know the world's major biotechnology companies, industries and markets of the bioindustry; -know the nature of production and commodity forms of organic products; -ability to evaluate, interpret and synthesize information and analysis results, be able to determine qualitative and quantitative indicators, to draw up technological schemes of production to ensure a normal biotechnological process of obtaining commercial forms of bioproducts and waste disposal.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: General biotechnology, Biotechnology of Fermentation, Marketing and Commodity in Biotechnology Co-requisites: Simulation and Scaling of Biotechnological Production in the GMP System.
Summary of the subject: Integrative nature of determining the trends and conditions of development of the bioindustry in the market demand for bioproducts. Information on fundamental and industrial principles, processes, methods, prospects for the development of biotechnology and bioengineering to obtain practically useful products for humans in various fields of biotechnology: pharmaceutical, food, agricultural, bioenergy, bioresources using special biosystems and nutrient media to obtain a wide range of products . Principles and bioprocesses of organization of different types of biotechnological productions of food biotech products, biopreparations, bioactive generics and biosimilars, which requires investment climate, engineering, eco-management and bioeconomics. Safety systems of food bioproducts, biological products are considered.
Assessment methods and criteria: oral survey; individual task (IndZ); exam (Е) . Current control (CC) - LW (performance, protection and execution report - 15%); IndZ (registration of the report on the individual topic of multimedia presentation - 15%), IndZ (development of the technological flowcharts bioproduktion to A3 - 10%) and participation in scientific work (including up to 5 points) - 40% Control measure (CM) - Е (written test - 50%; oral component -10%) - 60% The final semester control (FSC) - the sum of CC and CM - 100 points.
