Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes PR03. Carry out technical and economic calculations of design decisions and analyze and evaluate their effectiveness, environmental and social consequences in the short and long term. PR08. Plan and manage research, scientific and technical and / or production projects in the field of biotechnology, based on current trends in science, technology and society. PR 10. Introduce the most effective biotechnological methods and techniques in practical production activities based on the evaluation of the effectiveness of advanced biotechnologies and taking into account the general trends in the development of new biotechnologies in leading countries. Fluently communicate orally and in writing in state and foreign languages, discuss with experts and non-specialists the results of research, innovation and / or production management and biotechnology. PR 15. Have the skills to develop and implement marketing programs and strategies, analysis and evaluation of options for promoting biotech products to consumers, setting optimal prices for it. PR 16. Analyze the content and terms of foreign trade contracts, evaluate and analyze them.

Summary of the subject: Provides students with knowledge of the theoretical provisions of economic analysis of biotechnological industries. The discipline involves the acquisition of practical skills in the field of analysis of fixed assets and the effectiveness of their use; understanding the content of wages at the enterprise, analysis of costs and prices for products in market conditions; analysis of processes of organization of product quality management, methods of providing and tools of its analysis; tools for managing production and economic activities of the enterprise; analysis of cash flows of the enterprise.
Assessment methods and criteria: Oral and written survey: 30 points Completion of individual tasks: 30 points Execution of calculation and graphic work: 40 points Final (credit control): 100 points based on the results of practical, lecture and calculation and graphic work. Final control: credit
