Learning outcomes: • know the main reference surfaces used in geodesy;
• know the main reference surfaces used in geodesy;
• know schema of state geodetic network construction and methods of its creation;
• have an understanding of the most used in geodesy coordinate system and be able to carry out the transition between the numerical coordinates of points in these systems.
• have an understanding of the method of conducting and processing the leveling of I and II class.

• Geodesy, part 2,
• Fundamentals of engineering geodesy,
Corequisites:
• Modern Methods of Engineering and Geodetic Observations Processing,
• Engineering geodesy.
Summary of the subject: The concept of State Geodetic Network and methods of its creation. Coordinate systems used in Ukraine: SК-63, SК-42, USК2000. The concept of high-precision leveling. Devices for leveling I and II class and their verification. Methods of conducting and processing leveling I and II class. Sources of errors in high-precision leveling and methods of mitigating their influence. Adjustment of high-precision leveling networks. The concept of a network of active reference stations.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral examination, settlement and control work (30%);
• final control (70%, exam): written-oral form (70%).
