Learning outcomes: - to know UAV design features; - to know the theoretical bases and technology of aerial surveying of UAVs; - to know the software and applications for creating orthophotomaps. - to be able to carry out preparatory work instruments and devices prior aerial surveying of UAVs; - to be able to perform horizontal and vertical tie-in; - to be able to carry out aerial surveying with UAV; - to be able to assess the quality Ring montages resulting aerial surveying, and process orthophotomaps in modern software.
Required prior and related subjects: physics Part 1, Part 2, mathematical processing of geodetic measurements Part 1, Part 2, higher mathematics, satellite geodesy and spherical astronomy Part 1, photogrammetry and remote sensing).
Summary of the subject: Objectives and content of the course. Unmanned aerial vehicles. Design features of the UAV. Preparatory work before aerial surveying. Aerial surveying using UAVs. Technological features of orthophotomaps processing using the materials of aerial surveying by UAV.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on laboratory work, oral questioning (60%) • final control (40 %, measures of control, test): written-oral form (40%)
