Learning outcomes: PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. PLO 15. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes of international cooperation and business, integration and globalization, factors and parameters of the modern international economic environment, management systems of international economic and customs activities. PLO 26. Ability to research foreign markets, to form technologies of international economic operations, conclude and execute agreements with foreign counterparties, to develop international projects.

Summary of the subject: The essence of international business and development trends in the conditions of globalization. International business environment. The role of marketing in strengthening business competitiveness. Strategic planning in international business. Integration structures in international business. M&A. Deoffshoreization of national economies. Human resource management in international business. Professional communications. Cross-cultural differences and specifics of conducting international negotiations. Ethics and the concept of social responsibility in international business. Assessment methods and criteria: - semester control (exam) of full-time students consists of written (50 points) and oral (10 points) components; the current control of full-time students consists of assessment in laboratory classes (total - 15 points); participation in case discussions (maximum score – 5 points); preparation of presentations, reports and performances (maximum score – 10 points); preparation and writing of an individual research task (essay), which is evaluated by 10 points; - semester control (examination) of correspondence students consists of written (45 points) and oral (10 points) components; the current control of correspondence students consists of assessment in laboratory classes (each laboratory work - 5 points, total - 15 points); preparation of presentations, reports and performances (maximum score – 10 points); preparation and writing of two test papers, each of which is evaluated by 10 points.
