Learning outcomes: Students are expected to acquire following knowledges: - the basic theoretical aspects of the discipline; - goal, tasks, methods and functions of personnel development; - the main directions of personnel development in the organization; - difference between system, process and other approaches to personnel development of the organization; - methods for assessing the effectiveness of personnel development activities. Students are expected to acquire following skills: - to form a process of personnel development in the organization; - to plan the budget of personnel development in the organization; - to identify the training needs of the organization's staff; - to build a model of competencies for a particular organization; - to evaluate the effectiveness of personnel development activities.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: HR management, Corporate culture. Corrections: HR motivation, HR audit.
Summary of the subject: Theoretical aspects of the concept of "personnel development" and its importance in the organization. The personnel development in an organization is a system and process. Management of labor adaptation of personnel. Career management personnel. Training of personnel of the organization. Retraining of employees. Preparation and formation of personnel reserve of the organization. Efficiency of personnel development programs. Social partnership and social development of employees.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (50%): individual written practical tasks, verbal questioning. Final control (50%): testing, verbal component.
