Characteristics of the educational program: The object of study - the functioning and development of the world economy, forms of international economic relations and mechanisms for their implementation, motivation and behavior of international economic relations at the micro, meso, macro and mega levels, in the evolution of international relations and international cooperation. The theoretical content of the subject area - the economics of world economic relations with its patterns of formation and development of social reproduction processes in their relationship and interdependence based on international economic activity, international division of labor and institutional regulatory mechanism in the transformation of international economic relations and international economic cooperation. The objectives of the training are to train specialists capable of solving specialized complex problems and practical problems, which are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions in the field of international economic relations. Methods, techniques and technologies: methods of theoretical and empirical research, economic and mathematical analysis and forecasting, methods of data analysis, technology of information retrieval and processing, expert evaluation of the results of international economic relations. Tools: modern information and analytical systems, standard and special software products.
Gained competence: 1. Conceptual knowledge acquired in the process of learning and professional activity, including certain knowledge of modern achievements 2. Critical comprehension of basic theories, principles, methods and concepts in teaching and professional activities 3. Solving complex unforeseen tasks and problems in specialized areas of professional activity and / or training, which involves the collection and interpretation of information (data), the choice of methods and tools, the use of innovative approaches.
Block 01. International Economics 1.1 Ability to choose the best forms of foreign economic transactions. 1.2. Ability to conduct comprehensive marketing research of the foreign market, search, selection and establishment of contacts with a foreign partner. 1.3. Ability to analyze competitive materials, compile a competitive letter, to provide economic justification for foreign economic transactions. 1.4. Ability to conduct commercial negotiations with contractors and sign foreign trade contracts. 1.5. Ability to apply methods and technologies of enterprise cost management and be able to develop budgets in the field of international economic relations. Block 02. International investment and innovation activities 2.1. Ability to analyze the features of international investment and innovation, the structure of the global financial market, approaches to managing the international innovation process. 2.2. Ability to use the acquired knowledge to analyze the peculiarities of the organization of trade in financial instruments in different national markets and the European market. 2.3. Ability to use innovation project management skills internationally. 2.4. Ability to analyze and evaluate the innovation potential of the enterprise, as well as the competitiveness of the innovative enterprise. 2.5. Understanding the features of accounting, taxation and international insurance in the field of investment and innovation. Block 03. Economics of International Communications and IT 3.1. Ability to understand and adhere to diplomatic protocol and business etiquette in negotiations. 3.2. Ability to perform international economic analysis in the field of media communications and IT. 3.3. Ability to use information systems and technologies in the management of international economic relations in the field of media communications and IT. 3.4. Understanding the importance of corporate social responsibility and taking into account the factors of the cultural environment of countries in the field of media communications and IT. 3.5. Ability to use international e-commerce systems in the field of media communications and IT. Block 04. Economics of customs activity 4.1. Ability to analyze regulations governing customs activities in Ukraine and abroad. 4.2. Ability to conduct economic diagnostics of customs activities, as well as the calculation of economic indicators of these activities. 4.3. Ability to formulate reasonable address proposals and recommendations based on the results of diagnosing the subject and object of research. 4.4. Ability to justify the use of tools and technologies for informatization of customs activities. 4.5. Ability to document and customs clearance of foreign investments, as well as to estimate the costs of customs activities.
1. Ability to identify the characteristics and trends of the world economy, especially the implementation of economic policy and global integration / disintegration processes, including Euro-Atlantic integration. 2. Ability to use basic categories and the latest theories, concepts, technologies and methods in the field of international economic relations, taking into account their basic forms, to apply theoretical knowledge on the functioning and development of international economic relations. 3. The ability to identify features of the functioning of the environment of international economic relations and models of economic development. 4. Ability to substantiate the peculiarities of the implementation of forms of international economic relations at the mega-, macro-, meso- and micro-levels. 5. Ability to carry out a comprehensive analysis and monitoring of world markets, assess changes in the international environment and be able to adapt to them. 6. Ability to analyze international markets for goods and services, tools and principles of international trade regulation. 7. Ability to analyze theories and mechanisms of implementation of international monetary, financial and credit relations. 8. The ability to determine the functional features, nature, level and degree of relationships between the subjects of international economic relations of different levels and to establish communication between them. 9. Ability to diagnose the state of research in international economic relations and the world economy in an interdisciplinary combination with political, legal, natural sciences. 10. Ability to justify the use of legal, economic and diplomatic methods (tools) for resolving conflict situations at the international level.
Academic mobility: On the basis of bilateral agreements between the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" and universities of Ukraine and higher educational institutions of foreign countries
Work placement(s): Internship on the topic of bachelor's thesis. Internships abroad are possible.
