Learning outcomes: Ability to analytically comprehend and understand the multicultural nature of the border; ability to determine the features and patterns of development of historical and cultural process at the junction of cultures and civilizations; develops the ability to collect and process information and material about a particular area, taking into account the controversy of events and phenomena, as well as their excellent interpretation by various historical or national scientific schools; ability to critically analyze phenomena and facts from various sources of information and interpret them accordingly; ability to communicate and dialogue with people and institutions that have different views or understandings of the development and significance of the historical and cultural process of a given region or country; ability to use professional knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems in the field of preservation of movable and immovable cultural heritage of Ukraine; the graduate can take an active part in the programs of the European Union - Eastern Partnership, Cross-border cooperation Poland - Belarus - Ukraine, etc .; the competitiveness and readiness of the graduate to participate in the European Union programs for the development of regions, in particular, the "Carpathian Euroregion" and "Bug" increases.

Summary of the subject: The cultural heritage of the border is an important factor in shaping the national identity of Ukrainians. The influence of the cultural heritage of the Ukrainian-Polish border on modern interethnic and interstate relations. Museum collections of Lviv in the context of modern Ukrainian-Polish dialogue. The common cultural heritage is a platform for interethnic understanding.
Assessment methods and criteria: Semester evaluation of student learning is carried out according to the total number of points (100) obtained according to the results of current control (50) and the implementation of control measures – examination (50 ).
