Learning outcomes: 1. Apply methods of information collection: document analysis, surveys and observations; 2. Summary of the subject: Overview of the monitoring and evaluation: basic concepts, objectives, components. Culture of monitoring and evaluation. Routine and periodic monitoring for the purposes of monitoring and evaluation. Indicators for monitoring and evaluation, creation, calculation and selection. The logical model and theory of change in monitoring and evaluation. Types and methods of evaluation. Use of data for quality improvement programs. The purpose of capacity building for monitoring and evaluation. Measure the potential of monitoring and evaluation at the individual, organizational and systemic levels. Approaches to measuring capacity for monitoring and evaluation. The planned approach. An approach based on complex adaptive systems. A combined approach of measuring the capacity for monitoring and evaluation. The problems of measuring the potential of monitoring and evaluation. Indicators and setting goals. Cycle usage data and system data types and data sources. Using data to improve the quality of projects
