Learning outcomes: 1. Apply methods of collecting information: document analysis, surveys and observations; 2. Ability to apply the statistical, methodological and regulatory framework of the social protection system; 3. Use basic knowledge of the principles of state social policy and ways of social security; 4. Determine the conditions of socio-economic support of different categories of the population; 5. Analyze and assess the level of material and economic protection of different categories of the population; 6. Make practical decisions to improve social welfare and increase social security; 7. Systematically think and apply creative abilities to the formation of new ideas; 8. Analyze the state of affairs, identify the causes of shortcomings and disruptions of planned activities; 9. Ability to determine the social orientation of public organizations, the motivation of their activities;

Summary of the subject: Subject and objectives of the course "Social Entrepreneurship". Interrelation and interdependence of economic and social policy of the state. Economic aspects of social protection of the population. Regulatory and legal support of the social protection system. Material well-being of the population, its structure and dynamics. Economic status as a factor of differentiation in social security. State social standards and social. Models and programs of social security in the welfare states of the world. Financing in the social protection system.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (40%): written reports on practical work, oral examination, individual research work. Final control (60%, exam)
