Learning outcomes: 1. Ability to demonstrate professional competence obtained in the course of development of different disciplines. 2. The ability to apply the universal principles of coexistence and ethical standards of conduct towards people and the environment. 3. The ability to show kindness, tolerance, care for others, to confront the racial, ethnic, sexual and age discrimination. 4. To articulate their thoughts and to Express them, and to maintain objectivity, consistency and labor activity in extreme situations. 5. To understand the cause-and-effect relationships of society development and manifestations of the socio-economic problems in various categories of the population. 6. To identify social problems and needs and their causes, trends, consequences, and social status of certain categories of the population. 7. To establish and maintain relationships with organizations and institutions with the purpose of bringing them to the social protection of the population. 8. To inform the public about the socio-economic initiatives and programmes that are introduced at the state level, region, region, to mediate, to structure, coordinate, programming of the activities of various social services, foundations, community organizations and government agencies. 9. Summary of the subject: Public Relations (PR) as a field of scientific knowledge and an area of professional activity. Formula of PR. The origins and history of PR. The public in PR-system as an object and subject of communication. Public opinion: studies and formation. Communication as a process of information transfer. Lines of communication influence in the system PR - activities. Communication problems and PR - activities in the organization.
Assessment methods and criteria: • oral interviews, participation in discussions, presentation of the study project (40%) • final control (verification event, exam), written-oral form (60%)
