Required prior and related subjects: Entry to the profession. Basics of transportation and storage of hydrocarbons.
Summary of the subject: Theoretical knowledge and methods of calculations of railway and automobile transportation of hydrocarbons are stated. The given recommendations which facilitate a choice of the necessary equipment for transport, form skills about its basic technical indicators which provide operation in concrete production conditions. Theoretical calculations of different approaches for storage of oil products are made.

Summary of the subject: During the study of this discipline the student acquires theoretical knowledge and practical skills that allow technically competent and responsible for the preparation and reliable operation of transportation systems for oil and petroleum products. Students receive the necessary knowledge to understand and carry out quality training and reliable and long-term operation of a set of equipment for storage of oil, petroleum products and gas.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on practical work, oral examination, control work (30%) • final control (60%, control measure): written and oral form (10%)
