Learning outcomes: 1. Find the necessary information in scientific and reference literature, databases, the Internet and other sources, evaluate, interpret and apply this information (PH5). 2. Apply modern digital technologies and specialized software to solve engineering and management problems related to the implementation of basic oil and gas technologies, technologies for diagnosing the resource of objects of the oil and gas complex, extraction, transportation and storage of oil and gas (RN7). 3. Plan and organize the work of the structural division of the oil and gas enterprise in accordance with the requirements of life safety, occupational health and environmental protection (RN16). 4. To organize and manage the professional development of individuals and groups in the field of oil and gas engineering (RN18). 5. The ability to assess the energy efficiency of processes and the development of technological processes for the manufacture or repair of structures and products of the oil and gas industry (RN1.3). 6. Knowledge of basic methods of research and analysis of loads, displacements, stress-strain state in structural elements, methods of design and verification calculations of products (RN1.5). 7. Familiarity with the basics of labor organization based on knowledge of labor legislation and labor protection norms (RN1.6). 8. Skills in organizing the work of oil and gas profile production units. Mastering the basics of entrepreneurial activity (RN2.2). 9. Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas fields (RN2.4). 10. Knowledge of methods of operational control over the technical condition of technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of equipment and elements of the pipeline complex (RN2.5). 11. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication, in Ukrainian and one of the foreign languages (English, German, French) (KOM1). 12. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions (AiB1). 13. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen acquired and acquire new professional knowledge (AiB2). 14. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics (AiB3). 15. Ability to demonstrate understanding of basic environmental principles, occupational health and safety and their application in the field of oil and gas technologies and engineering (AiB4).

Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student gets acquainted with modern technologies and forms of work organization in the field of oil and gas business; acquires professional skills and abilities, based on the theoretical knowledge and practical training obtained while studying at the university, to make independent decisions in the process of professional activity; gets acquainted with and acquires practical skills with the main technological processes of drilling wells for various purposes; studies the problems solved by oil and gas enterprises in specific geological and technical conditions.
