Required prior and related subjects: Bachelor's degree disciplines Project management in production Surface engineering Mechanics of destruction of metal structures Study of physico-chemical and mechanical properties of welded joints, part 1 (PM)
Summary of the subject: During the study of this educational discipline, the student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge of technologies and equipment for argon arc welding of pipe materials, which are currently used in production and will develop in the future. Acquires the skills to develop the technological process of argon arc welding of pipe materials, select welding materials, set up welding equipment and ensure the quality of the technological process of argon arc welding of pipe materials.
Assessment methods and criteria: Students' knowledge is assessed using the following methods: 1. Conducting the current express - control of questions based on the lecture material. The tests assess the correctness of the answers to the questions posed to the student. 2. Defense of laboratory works in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work and the methodology of its implementation and the obtained experimental results. 6. Criteria for evaluating the learning outcomes of education seekers Maximum score in points Current control (PC) Examination control Together for discipline Together for PC Written component Oral component 1. Defense of laboratory works in oral form by surveying the theoretical material on the topic of the work, research methodology and obtained results. 2. Protection of RGR according to the variant of the individual task on the development of elements of the technology of argon arc welding 20 20 50 10 100 Total 40 50 10 100 Procedure and criteria for assigning points and grades: • 100-88 points - grade A ("excellent") is given for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the module contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their relationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; • 87–80 points – grade B (“very good”) is awarded for knowledge of the educational material of the module above the average level, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions asked (a small number of inaccuracies are possible), the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; • 79–71 points – grade C (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the learning material of the module, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions during development solving practical problems; • 70–61 points - grade D ("mediocre") is given for mediocre knowledge of the module's educational material, poorly argued answers, weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; • 60–50 points – grade E (“satisfactory”) is given for weak knowledge of the module's educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; • 49–26 points – the grade FX (“unsatisfactory”) with the possibility of retaking the exam or credit) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the module, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems ; • 25–00 points – grade F (“unsatisfactory”) with mandatory re-study of the module) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the module, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems , ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
