Learning outcomes: To know the theories, principles, methods and concepts of oil and gas engineering, to understand the current state and role of the oil and gas industry in ensuring the energy security of Ukraine (RN 2) Analyze and develop elements of technological schemes and technical devices of technology systems for diagnosing the resource of objects of the oil and gas complex, transportation and storage of oil and gas (RN 3) Find the necessary information in scientific and reference literature, databases, the Internet and other sources, evaluate, interpret and apply this information (RN 5) Calculate the parameters of hydro-gas dynamic processes that accompany the movement of oil and gas and technological fluids in the reservoir/wells/industrial and main pipelines using the laws of thermodynamics, hydraulics and gas dynamics and modern methods of relevant calculations (RN 11) Carry out calculations of technological parameters of oil and gas wells, oil and gas preparation systems, industrial and main gas and oil pipelines, gas and oil storage facilities using appropriate mathematical and engineering methods (RN 12) The ability to develop and compile, in accordance with established requirements, typical design, technological and working documents of main pipelines (FRG 2.3) Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas fields (FRG 2.4) Knowledge of the methods of operational control over the technical condition of technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of equipment and elements of the pipeline complex (FRG 2.5) Knowledge of the basics of designing technological equipment for oil and gas technologies and engineering. Methods and systems of automated design of oil and gas technologies, engineering and technological equipment (FRG 2.8) The ability to use a variety of methods, in particular, oil and gas technologies and engineering to communicate on a professional and social level (KOM 2) The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge (AiV 2)

Normative documents on the construction of main pipelines. Purpose and structure of main gas pipelines and oil pipelines. Design schemes for laying main pipelines. Classification and categories of main pipelines. Pipeline profile and its elements. Optimal profiling of pipelines Loads and impacts. Stressed condition of the pipeline. Strength of pipelines, limit states. Calculations of pipelines according to calculated limit states Longitudinal and transverse movements of underground pipelines Topic 2 Organization and technology of construction of the linear part of pipelines Works of the preparatory period: organizational and mobilization stages Preparatory and technological stage. Summary of the subject: During the study of this discipline the student acquires practical knowledge and skills to perform the required strength calculation of the main pipeline in accordance with the conditions of operation and implementation of welding and installation work in the construction or repair of pipeline transport facilities. When performing course work, preference is given to the design of welding or repair of real pipeline systems or storage facilities at the request of the base company, potential customer, employer, etc. For this purpose, the volume and content of the work are adjusted in agreement with the student and the supervisor.
Assessment methods and criteria: Presentation and design of individual items and sections of the coursework, which is performed in extracurricular (free from mandatory classes) time according to the assignment and under the methodical guidance of the teacher, but without his direct participation, in accordance with the criteria listed in Appendix 2 of the Regulations on rating assessment of students' achievements (75 points); Defense of the coursework before the commission (25 points)
