Required prior and related subjects: prerequisites: Materials science and technologies of structural materials. co-requisites: Mathematical modeling of the stress-strain state of oil and gas reservoirs and pipelines. Corrosion and corrosion protection of gas and oil pipelines, Diagnostics of oil and gas complex structures.
Summary of the subject: Weldability of materials; defects in welded joints, cold cracks in welded joints of steels and assessment of susceptibility to their formation; reheating cracks; hot cracks and assessment of resistance to their formation; fragile destruction and methods of assessing susceptibility to it.
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnosis of knowledge in students is by the following methods: 1. Conducting current express - control by means of virtual learning environment or tests, oral interviews, evaluation of activities and suggestions. 2. Defense of laboratory work in oral form by questioning the theoretical material on the topic of work and methods of its implementation or Defense of laboratory work in writing by testing in the network of virtual learning environment on the topic of work. 3. Execution and defense of control work on the course material 4. Final express control by testing and oral component
