Learning outcomes: Know the theories, principles, methods and concepts of oil and gas engineering, understand the current state and role of the oil and gas industry in ensuring the energy security of Ukraine (RN2); Analyze and develop elements of technological schemes and technical devices of technology systems for diagnosing resources of oil and gas complex objects, transportation and storage of oil and gas (RN3); Find the necessary information in scientific and reference literature, databases, the Internet and other sources, evaluate, interpret and apply this information (PH5); Calculate the parameters of hydro-gas dynamic processes that accompany the movement of oil and gas and technological fluids in the reservoir/wells/industrial and main pipelines using the laws of thermodynamics, hydraulics and gas dynamics and modern methods of relevant calculations (РН11); Carry out calculations of technological parameters of oil and gas wells, oil and gas preparation systems, industrial and main gas and oil pipelines, gas and oil storage facilities using appropriate mathematical and engineering methods (RN12); The ability to develop and compile, in accordance with the established requirements, typical design, technological and working documents of main pipelines (FRN2.3); Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of technological equipment used in the construction, repair, reconstruction and restoration of oil and gas pipelines (FRN2.4); Knowledge of methods of repair and operation of pipelines of various purposes and profiles (FRN2.6); Ability to use various methods, in particular, oil and gas technologies and engineering to communicate at a professional and social level (KOM2); The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge (AaR2).

Summary of the subject: Independent creative work, which is performed outside the classroom (free from compulsory educational classes) according to the task and under the methodical guidance of the teacher, but without his direct participation. In the case of real qualification work (at the request of an enterprise, practice base, potential client, employer, etc.), it is allowed to adjust the scope and content of the course project upon agreement with the student. During the implementation of the course project, the student, depending on the topic, must learn to independently solve the following tasks: analyze the peculiarities of the formation of a tank farm or gas storage; characterize the features of the structure and methods of cyclic operation analysis; carry out the method of determining the parameters of a tank farm or gas storage; justify the peculiarities of operation, maintenance and repair of a tank farm or gas storage; determine the necessary parameters for reliable and high-quality work; characterize modern methods of increasing the efficiency of storage; select the equipment necessary for carrying out repair work or improving the efficiency of the storage; analyze performance before and after repair work; develop algorithms and programs for calculating storage parameters for their practical application; develop new technologies, methods, schemes for the maintenance and repair of storage facilities; compare them with existing ones; to develop occupational and environmental protection measures during the execution of works.
Assessment methods and criteria: Diagnostics of the student's knowledge takes place during the semester when performing course work in extracurricular (free from mandatory classes) time according to the assignment and under the methodical guidance of the teacher, but without his direct participation and by means of defense before the committee using the following methods: 1. The quality of the course work is evaluated according to the criteria listed in Appendix 2 of the Regulation on the rating assessment of student achievements: – correspondence of the content of the coursework to the task and the requirements of the educational and methodological recommendations for its implementation; - independence of solving the given task, project decision, execution of calculations, drawings, graphs and tables; – the presence of elements of a scientific and research nature; – use of computer technologies; - preparation of an explanatory note, graphic materials in accordance with the requirements of design and technological documentation. 2. The quality of the student's report on the content of the coursework is evaluated; 3. The completeness and correctness of the answers to the questions posed to the student are evaluated. Presentation and design of individual items and sections of the coursework, which is performed in extracurricular (free from mandatory classes) time according to the assignment and under the methodical guidance of the teacher, but without his direct participation, in accordance with the criteria listed in Appendix 2 of the Regulations on rating assessment of students' achievements (75 points); Defense of the coursework before the commission (25 points)
