Мета вивчення дисципліни: Students' acquisition of theoretical knowledge of physical and physico-chemical analysis methods and their familiarization with methods of qualitative and quantitative determination of the composition of substances
Завдання: 1. The ability to use a thorough knowledge of chemistry and biology to the extent necessary to achieve other educational program results. 2. The ability to carry out experimental research on the improvement of bioagents, including causing changes in the structure of the hereditary apparatus and the functional activity of biological agents. 3. The ability to use knowledge about the chemical structure, physical properties, and methods of obtaining chemical substances. 4. the ability to use knowledge of analytical, physical and colloidal chemistry to study and identify toxic substances in biological objects and systems
Learning outcomes: • reasonably choose the appropriate method for a particular task; Solving specialized complex tasks and practical problems • be able to carry out laboratory research group led by the leader. • have the skills to use information and communication technologies • efficiently use laboratory analytical equipment and instruments • accurately reproduce method by the description • carry out metrological evaluation of precision and accuracy of the results

Summary of the subject: Physical and chemical (instrumental) methods of analysis. Spectral (optical) methods of analysis. Flame photometric analysis. Molecular absorption analysis. Turbidimetry, nephelometry. Chromatographic methods of analysis. Electrochemical methods of analysis. Potentiometric methods of analysis. Conductivity analysis methods. Coulometric methods of analysis. Polarographic analysis methods. Stripping voltammetry.

Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports of laboratory work, oral examination, tests (25 %) • final control (evaluation) (75 %) – differentiated test (pass-fail exam, grading test)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Current control (PC, 100 points): Colloquiums: 75 points; Control work: 5 points; Defense of laboratory works: 20 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: - 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the primary and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; - 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations and reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions during solving practical tasks; - 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) are awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, a violation of the sequence of presentation, or weak application of theoretical provisions while solving practical problems; - 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) are awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; - 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) are awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, and ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
