Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the educational discipline is to study the basics of analysis, synthesis and optimization of elements and devices of electronic equipment (EE); to study the structure of the process of automated design of elements and devices of EE; study of the algorithmic base of system engineering, circuit engineering, construction and technological design of EE elements and devices; familiarization with technical and software means of automating the design of EE elements and devices and obtaining practical skills of working with these tools.

Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. Special (professional, subject) competences: SC7. The ability to apply creative and innovative potential in the synthesis of engineering solutions and in the development of structures of electronic devices and systems. SC8. The ability to solve engineering problems in the field of electronics, taking into account all aspects of development, design, production, operation and modernization of electronic devices, devices and systems. SC9. The ability to determine and evaluate the characteristics and parameters of electronic equipment materials, analog and digital electronic devices for the design of microprocessor and electronic systems, devices of functional, quantum and laser electronics.
Learning outcomes: Program learning outcomes: Р5. Use information and communication technologies, applied and specialized software products to solve the problems of designing and debugging electronic systems, demonstrate programming skills, analysis and display of measurement and control results. P9. To design complex real-time systems and means of collecting and processing information, coordinated with given information and software means by applying software for embedded systems based on microcontrollers. Р10. Develop technical means for building and diagnosing the technical condition of electronic devices and systems, organize and carry out scheduled and unscheduled repairs, tuning and retuning of electronic equipment in accordance with current production requirements. P15. Demonstrate the skills of independent and collective work, leadership qualities, organize work under limited time conditions with an emphasis on professional integrity. Р18. Apply methods of mathematical modeling and optimization of electronic systems for the development of automated and robotic production complexes. Communication: K2. Use of communicative competence for effective interaction in various spheres of communication; selection and systematization of information materials for the purpose of communication in the professional sphere. Autonomy and responsibility: AB2. Responsible attitude to professional duties and performed work, independence in making and implementing decisions in the process of overcoming educational difficulties, relying on one's own experience in creatively solving the problems.

Summary of the subject: The program of the study discipline "Automated design of elements and devices of electronic engineering" is concluded for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The educational discipline is devoted to the study of the basics of analysis, synthesis and optimization of elements and devices of electronic engineering (EE), terminology in the field of automated design, structure and classification of automated design. Basic methods of analysis, synthesis and optimization of EE elements and devices are taught; methods, models and algorithms of system engineering, circuit engineering, construction and technological design of EE elements and devices. Training is carried out by integrating technical skills and knowledge of physical laws and processes in accordance with a certain academic and professional field of activity of students.
Опис: Terminology in the field of computer-aided design. Elements of set theory and graph theory. Mathematical models of design objects. Analysis, synthesis and optimization of design objects. Automation of circuit, design and technological design of electronic devices. Automation of electronic components design. Automation of circuit design of electronic devices. Automation of design design of electronic devices. Automation of technological design of electronic devices.
Assessment methods and criteria: Knowledge diagnostic methods: • Current control: completed and protected laboratory work, problem solving. • Final control: exam.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • Current control: written reports on laboratory work, oral survey, control work (30%). • Examination control (70%, test, exam): written component (50%), oral component (20%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.

Apply methods of mathematical modeling and optimization of electronic systems for the development of automated and robotic production complexes. Communication: K2. Summary of the subject: The course project is devoted to the study of the basics of analysis, synthesis and optimization of elements and devices of electronic technology, terminology in the field of computer-aided design, structure and classification of computer-aided design. The basic methods of analysis, synthesis and optimization of elements and devices of electronic technology are stated; methods, models and algorithms of system engineering, circuit engineering, design and technological design of elements and devices of electronic equipment.
Опис: Stages of the course project: 1. Acquaintance with the task, methodology of the course project and clarification of the variant of the task. 2. Development of the block diagram of the process of automated design of the bipolar transistor design of the monolithic integrated circuit. 3. Development of algorithm and program for synthesis and optimization of bipolar transistor design. 4. Synthesis and optimization of bipolar transistor design of monolithic integrated circuit using TRANSISTOR program. 5. Design of the topology of a bipolar transistor of a monolithic integrated circuit. 6. Calculation of coordinates of topology elements of bipolar transistor using MathCAD package. 7. Design of topology of bipolar transistor in graphic editor Auto-CAD. 8. Defense of the course project.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control in the form of inspection by the teacher of parts of the course project in accordance with the description of the stages of the course project. 2. Final control in the form of defense of the course project.
