Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline is to study the methodology of using electronics in modern information protection systems, objects and special purpose signaling systems; familiarization with the physical principles of building elements and systems for the protection of premises, objects and information; familiarization with the physical principles of the functioning of special purpose signaling systems; study of general principles of structure construction and principles of creation and operation of modern electronic information protection systems; familiarization with modern electronic systems for the protection of objects and information; study of the modern legislative framework regarding the preservation of confidential information and the protection of intellectual property.
Завдання: Special (professional, subject) competences: SC7. The ability to apply creative and innovative potential in the synthesis of engineering solutions and in the development of structures of electronic devices and systems. SC10. The ability to apply industry standards and quality standards for the functioning of electronic devices and systems in practice. Professional competences of a professional direction: FCS1.2. Design complex real-time systems and means of collecting and processing information, coordinated with given information and software means by applying software for embedded systems based on microcontrollers.
Learning outcomes: Program learning outcomes: P 3. To find solutions to practical problems of electronics by applying relevant models and theories of electrodynamics, analytical mechanics, electromagnetism, statistical physics, solid state physics. P 9. To design complex real-time systems and means of collecting and processing information, coordinated with given information and software means by applying software for embedded systems based on microcontrollers. P 11. To argue the regulatory and legal principles when implementing electronic devices and systems; evaluate the advantages of engineering developments, their environmental friendliness and safety; defend one's worldview positions and beliefs in industrial or social activities. AB3. Independence in data processing, interpretation and generalization, responsibility for promptness, accuracy and reliability of information submission.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Element base of solid-state electronics. Co-requisites: Informatics of infocommunication systems. Physical foundations of electronic engineering. Materials and structures of nanoelectronics.
Summary of the subject: The program of the educational discipline "Electronic elements and devices of security and protection systems" is designed for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The educational discipline is dedicated to the study of the main groups of materials used in electronic technology: dielectrics, semiconductors, conductors and magnetic materials. Basic electrophysical parameters and characteristics of materials, structure, use for electronic devices, semiconductor and hybrid microcircuits are explained. Development directions, new promising types of materials are considered: nanostructured, quantum dimensional, composite and materials.
Опис: Historical review of the development of security systems. Classification of devices by purpose and principle of operation. General overview of the course. Linear systems and methods of their research. Optimal filtering. Methods of estimating the amount of information and its transformation when passing through linear systems. Acoustic and optoelectronic proximity sensors. Methods of ensuring interference resistance. Capacitive and radio frequency proximity sensors. Methods of ensuring interference resistance Closed television systems and their use in security systems. Car security systems. Mine detectors and metal detectors. Search for explosives and narcotic substances. Promising methods in security systems. Protection of information.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: practical works. Final control: final control work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Monitoring: tests, practical work, and individual research tasks (40%). Final control: credit (60%).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
