Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the academic discipline and learning outcomes is to study the structure, principles of construction, development methodology and areas of use of expert systems, study of the main methods, models and algorithms used in expert systems, familiarization with the basic principles of technical and software implementation of various types of expert systems, familiarization with examples of application of modern expert systems for diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Завдання: Integral competence: the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems, characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions, during professional activities in the field of electronics, or in the process of learning, which involves the application of theories and methods of electronics. Special (professional, subject) competences: SC1. The ability to use knowledge and understanding of scientific facts, concepts, theories, principles and methods for the design and application of electronics devices, devices and systems. SC6. The ability to identify, classify, evaluate and describe processes in electronic devices, devices and systems using analytical methods, modeling tools, test samples and the results of experimental studies. Professional competences of a professional direction: PCS1.1. Define and identify mathematical models of technological objects when developing new complex electronic systems in a computer environment and choosing the optimal solution. Be able to analyze, model and critically evaluate the obtained results.
Learning outcomes: Program learning outcomes: P6. Apply experimental skills (knowledge of experimental methods and the procedure for conducting experiments) to test hypotheses and research electronic phenomena, be able to use standard equipment, plan, draw up diagrams; analyze, model and critically evaluate the obtained results. P13. Be able to learn new knowledge, progressive technologies and innovations, find new unconventional solutions and means of their implementation; to meet the requirements of flexibility in overcoming obstacles and achieving the goal, rational use and rationing of time, discipline, responsibility for one's decisions and activities. P16. Apply the understanding of the theory of stochastic processes, methods of statistical processing and data analysis when solving professional tasks. Communication: K2. Use of communicative competence for effective interaction in various spheres of communication; selection and systematization of information materials for the purpose of communication in the professional sphere. Autonomy and responsibility: AB3. Independence in data processing, interpretation and generalization, responsibility for promptness, accuracy and reliability of information submission.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Informatics of infocommunication systems. Co-requisites: Automated design systems.
Summary of the subject: The course has a practical orientation, providing students with opportunities to acquire general professional competence in the field of "Electronics" from expert systems. Training is carried out by integrating technical skills and knowledge of physical laws and processes in accordance with a certain academic and professional field of activity of students. Self-education is considered an integral part of this educational course, and special attention in the program is paid to independent work of students.
Опис: Knowledge models in expert systems. General information about expert systems. Elements of discrete mathematics. Representation of knowledge and models of knowledge in ES. Expert systems classification. Classification of ES technical and software. Classification of ES tools. The main components of expert systems. ES structure. Subsystem of the logic output of the ES. ES development technology. ES based on fuzzy logic. Application of ES in medicine.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: completed and protected laboratory work, problem solving. Final control: exam.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Distribution of points on a 100-point scale. Current control: laboratory work - 30 points. Examination control – 70 points (written component – 60 points, oral component – 10 points).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.

Summary of the subject: The course work is designed to form and develop the skills and abilities of designing expert systems for various purposes, in particular, the skills of determining the structural organization of the ES and the functional purpose of the main ES elements, such as the dialogue subsystem, the database and the knowledge base, the subsystem of knowledge acquisition and logical explanation. The ability to determine the main stages of development in ES design, the skills of forming semantic, product and frame models of knowledge bases based on the analysis of the subject area. To know the technology of ES development and simulation modeling of the main stages of ES operation using probabilistic Bayesian methods. An explanatory note to a term paper should contain textual and illustrative material. The result of the work is an analytical review of the ES in the given subject area, the ES structure and knowledge base models, and the calculation part that demonstrates the operation of the main modules of the expert system.
Опис: Stages of course work: 1. Familiarization with the task, the methodology of the course project (term paper) and clarification of the task option. 2. Analytical review of expert systems of a given subject area according to the task. 3. Definition of the structural organization of the EC. 4. Definition of models of knowledge representation and the corresponding model of the knowledge base. 5. Modeling the main procedures of the expert system in the environment of electronic spreadsheets. 6. Calculation of probabilistic estimates for the decision-making system using Bayes rules. 7. Development of forms and reports. Formulation of conclusions. 8. Protection of term paper.
Assessment methods and criteria: 1. Current control in the form of a teacher checking parts of the course work according to the description of the stages of the course work. 2. Final control in the form of coursework defense.
