Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is to study the physical principles of operation of primary converters, to study the structural features of sensor construction, to study the manufacturing technology of primary converters of electronic equipment, to familiarize with the features of the use of modern measuring devices and devices created on the basis of primary converters in the leading fields of electronics.
Завдання: Special (professional, subject) competences: SC2. The ability to perform analysis of the subject area and regulatory documentation necessary for the design and application of electronics devices, devices and systems. Professional competences of a professional direction: PCS1.3. Use information and communication technologies, applied and specialized software products to solve the problems of designing and debugging electronic systems.
Learning outcomes: Program Learning Outcomes: Р 2. Apply knowledge and understanding of differential and integral calculus, algebra, functional analysis of real and complex variables, vectors and matrices, vector calculus, differential equations in ordinary and partial derivatives, Fourier series, statistical analysis, information theory, numerical methods to solve theoretical and applied problems in electronics. Р 8. To determine and identify mathematical models of technological objects in the development of new complex electronic systems in a computer environment and to choose the optimal solution. Р 10. Develop technical means for building and diagnosing the technical condition of electronic devices and systems, organize and carry out scheduled and unscheduled repairs, adjustments and readjustments of electronic devices in accordance with current production requirements. В 15. Demonstrate independent and teamwork skills, leadership qualities, organize work under time constraints with an emphasis on professional integrity. Р 16. Apply an understanding of the theory of stochastic processes, methods of statistical processing and data analysis in solving professional problems. Р 18. Apply methods of mathematical modeling and optimization of electronic systems for the development of automated and robotic production complexes.

Summary of the subject: The program of the study discipline "Fundamentals of sensor technology" is designed for students of the Institute of Telecommunications, Radio Electronics and Electronic Engineering who are studying Electronics. The educational discipline is dedicated to the analysis and study of the main problems and systematization of directions of mathematical modeling, design and manufacturing technology of electronic sensors of physical quantities.
Опис: Development of modern sensors. Analysis of mathematical modeling, design and technology of manufacturing electronic sensors. Semiconductor thermistor. Semiconductor strain gauges. Physical bases, technology, inclusion methods and thermal compensation of integral strain gauges. Photoconductors, galvanomagnetic, thermoelectric, piezoelectric, optoelectronic, liquid crystal, multifunctional and intelligent sensors.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Current control: performance of practical work, performance of an independent task. • Final control: examination control work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
