Learning outcomes: By the end of the study learners are expected to be able to: • maintain a conversation on familiar topics, expressing and exchanging opinions and factual information on everyday events; • demonstrate an understanding of clear and simple notices, including details on warning, announcements and instructions; • write e-mails for educational purposes conveying simple straightforward information of immediate relevance /close to the academic environment and everyday life; • write forum posts and comments, expressing their own opinion and commenting on other opinions, agreeing/disagreeing on what can be found in social media and virtual learning environment; • deal with factual/non-factual, important and less important information in the texts; - guess the meaning of unfamiliar words in the context; - be able to comprehend general and specific information from audio/video sources in typical life situations; - identify the author's idea in authentic literary sources according to the identified topics; - be able to interact with the groupmates and work in teams.
