Learning outcomes: PH07. To carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, to collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign political events and processes. PH08. Collect, process and analyze large volumes of information about the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communications. PH09. Research the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, present research results, provide relevant recommendations. PH10. Communicate freely in national and foreign languages at a professional level necessary for professional discussion, preparation of analytical and research documents. PH11. Carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the set goals, prepare informative and analytical documents. PH12. To have the skills of professional oral and written translation from/to foreign languages, in particular, from the professional subject of international cooperation, foreign policy, international communications, regional studies, bilateral and multilateral international projects. PH13. Conduct a professional discussion on issues of international relations, international communications, regional studies, foreign political activity, argue one's position, respect opponents and their points of view. PH14. Use modern digital technologies, specialized software, databases and information systems to solve complex specialized problems in the field of international relations, public communications and/or regional studies. PH15. Understand and apply current legislation, international regulatory documents and agreements, reference materials, current standards and technical conditions, etc., to solve complex specialized problems of international relations, public communications and regional studies. PH16. To understand and defend the national interests of Ukraine in international activities. PH17. To have the skills of self-determination of educational goals and learning, finding educational resources necessary for their achievement. PH19. To know the peculiarities, development trends, forms, methods and tools of state regulation of regional and cross-border cooperation, international cooperation of regions. pH 20. To be aware of the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with the latest stages of the development of the theory of international relations, the formulation of new political concepts and visions of the development of the international system. KOM3. the ability to freely use foreign languages in practical activities in the specialty, to carry out direct and reverse translation of documents from foreign languages; AiB3. the ability to take responsibility for the work performed and achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Basics of Scientific Research, Theory of International Relations, Political Science. Co-requisites: Practice According to Theme of Bachelor’s Thesis.
Summary of the subject: The topic of the work should reflect the problems of functional directions and main tasks of professional activity that form the professional competences of a bachelor in international relations, public communications and regional studies. The title of the topic should be clear and concise. The topics of the works are usually proposed and annually updated by the graduation department, taking into account the scientific interests and directions of research work of its scientific and pedagogical workers, as well as the relevance of the researched scientific issues.
Assessment methods and criteria: defense of Bachelor’s qualification thesis at the examination commission meeting, 100 points.
