Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes (LO): LO01. To know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations. LO02. To know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the features of its provision at the global, regional and national levels, know the nature and approaches to resolving international and international conflicts. LO04. To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of foreign policy, interaction between foreign and domestic policy, definition and implementation in the international arena of national interests, the process of formation and implementation of foreign policy decisions. LO06. To know the nature and peculiarities of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels. Learning outcomes of professional orientation (LOP): 1.1. to know and understand the nature, dynamics of international processes in specific spheres of international relations, trends in their development; 1.2. carry out a description and analysis of processes, specific situations in the field of international relations and foreign policy through the prism of historical and geopolitical approaches; 1.6. understand the geopolitical dimension of international relations, analyze modern political processes. Communication (Com): Com3. Ability to present and discuss the results obtained and transfer the acquired knowledge. Autonomy and responsibility (AandV): AandV 1. Ability to adapt to new conditions and make appropriate decisions.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: The History of International Relations Ideas, Concepts and Theories; International Relations and World Politics. Co-requisites: Geopolitics and geostrategy; Foreign policy of the countries of Western Europe.
Summary of the subject: Globalization as a reality and an object of reflection. Socio-philosophical discourse of globalization. Scientific discourse of globalization. Political and ideological discourse of globalization. The political dimension of globalization: institutions and processes. Global management. The political economic dimension of globalization. Ethnopolitical dimension of globalization. The social dimension of globalization. Globalization in the field of culture. Religion and globalization. Anthropological dimension of globalization. Global problems of humanity and the process of globalization. Problems of sustainable development, environmental protection, resource provision and population. Problems of ensuring global security.
Assessment methods and criteria: current control (40%): recitation, speeches at seminars, review writing; final control (60%): exam (three-level testing).

Learning outcomes: Learning outcomes (LO): LO01. To know and understand the nature of international relations and regional development, evolution, the state of theoretical studies of international relations and world politics, as well as the nature and sources of state policy in the international arena and the activities of other participants in international relations. LO02. To know and understand the nature and dynamics of international security, understand the features of its provision at the global, regional and national levels, know the nature and approaches to resolving international and international conflicts. LO03. To know the nature of international cooperation, the nature of interaction between international actors, the ratio of governmental and non-governmental actors in world politics. LO04. To know the principles, mechanisms and processes of foreign policy, interaction between foreign and domestic policy, definition and implementation in the international arena of national interests, the process of formation and implementation of foreign policy decisions. LO06. To know the nature and peculiarities of interactions of individual countries and regions at the global, regional and local levels. LO07. To carry out a description and analysis of the international situation, collect from various sources the necessary information about international and foreign policy events and processes. LO08. To collect, process and analyze large amounts of information on the state of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, regional systems, international communications. LO09. To investigate the problems of international relations, regional development, foreign policy, international communications, using modern political, economic and legal theories and concepts, scientific methods and interdisciplinary approaches, present research results, provide appropriate recommendations. LO11. Carry out an applied analysis of international relations, foreign policy of Ukraine and other states, international processes and the international situation in accordance with the objectives, prepare information and analytical documents. LO14. To use modern digital technologies, specialized software, databases and information systems to solve complex specialized problems in the field of international relations, public communications and / or regional studies. LO15. To understand and apply current legislation, international regulations and agreements, reference materials, current standards and specifications, etc. to solve complex specialized problems of international relations, public communications and regional studies. LO17. To have the skills to self-determine educational goals and training, finding the necessary educational resources to achieve them. LO20. Understand the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with the latest stages of development of the theory of international relations, the formulation of new political concepts and visions of the international system. Learning outcomes of professional direction: 1.2 Carry out a description and analysis of processes, specific situations in the field of international relations and foreign policy through the prism of historical and geopolitical approaches. 1.4 Research and analyze social, legal, cultural, economic factors affecting the adoption of political decisions at the domestic and international levels. 1.5 Develop mechanisms for solving current problems and tasks in the field of international relations and foreign policy. Communication (Com): Com 2. the ability to use oral and written communication in Ukrainian to carry out professional activities; Com 4. the ability to use various methods, in particular information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels, to adapt to new situations and make decisions. Autonomy and responsibility (AandV): AandV 1. the ability to argue the choice of mechanisms for solving professional problems, critically evaluate the obtained results and defend the decisions made; AandV 2. the ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired and acquire new professional knowledge in accordance with the latest stages of the development of the theory of international relations, the formulation of new political science concepts and visions of the development of the international system; AandV 3. the ability to take responsibility for the work performed and achieve the set goal according to the requirements of professional ethics.

Summary of the subject: Coursework is performed by students in accordance with the curriculum for training students in the "International Relations" specialty. Completion of the course work contributes to the in-depth learning of the discipline "Globalization and the global contemporary issues" and the acquisition of basic skills of independent scientific research. The knowledge, skills and abilities gained while writing the coursework can be used for further research and practical work of the student.
Assessment methods and criteria: final control (100%): test (coursework defense).
