Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is to train specialists in the field of telecommunications. For this, on the basis of knowledge and skills acquired by studying previous and related disciplines, students master modern methods of synthesis of digital switching fields of various structures and capacity and develop skills in designing multi-service subscriber access networks based on modern digital switching systems.
Завдання: general competencies: ZK-1. Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. ZK-4. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. ZK-7. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. professional competences: FC-4. Ability to perform computer modeling of devices, systems and processes using universal application program packages. FC-8. Willingness to promote the introduction of promising technologies and standards. FC-9. The ability to accept and develop new equipment in accordance with current regulations. FC-12. The ability to carry out work on managing the load flows of information and telecommunication networks.
Learning outcomes: ЗН8. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented specialties in the field of radio electronic circuits and circuit engineering, electromagnetic field theory, radio electronic systems theory, telecommunication network theory, automatic control theory, methods of analysis of radio electronic and telecommunication systems and networks, design and production processes, software and hardware programming systems, administration of information networks, information protection, information technologies. ЗН9. The ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge in at least one of the areas of radioelectronic and telecommunication systems and networks: radioelectronic systems, telecommunication systems and networks, information networks and communication, technologies for designing and manufacturing telecommunications equipment, designing software and hardware systems, developing software for embedded systems, administration of information communication networks. UM6. Application of understanding the main properties of the component base to ensure the quality and reliability of the functioning of telecommunications, radio engineering systems and devices.

Summary of the subject: У межах дисципліни розглядаються питання сучасних методів побудови мультисервісних мереж абонентського доступу на базі цифрових систем комутації. Викладено основні положення теорії розподілу інформації, а саме вивчення основних характеристик і математичних моделей потоків викликів, телефонного навантаження комутаційних систем і параметрів якості обслуговування викликів.
Опис: Basics of building public telephone networks. The structure and principle of building an international telephone network. The structure of the national network of Ukraine. The principle of building a zone network. Peculiarities of building a rural telephone network (STM). Topologies of urban telephone networks (MTN). Numbering system on telephone networks. Transition from analog to digital telephone networks. The main stages of digitization of MTM and STM. Signaling in telephone networks. Classification of alarm signals. Subscriber and interstation signaling. Alarm system №7 Generalized architecture of digital switching system. The main functional subsystems of the CSC and the nomenclature of additional types of services. Organization of subscriber access to the digital switching equipment of the reference CSC. Connections of digital switching systems Digital switches of the "Time", "Space" type, their functions and implementation. Synthesis of digital switching fields of a given capacity on digital blocks of temporal and spatial switching. Analysis of economic efficiency of synthesized structures of digital switching fields. MT20/25 digital switching system: technical characteristics, categories of subscribers, additional types of services. Composition of station equipment and its purpose. Structural diagram and calculation of the concentrator URA MT20/25. Features of the synthesis of a digital switching field of the Time-Space-Space-Time type based on a digital switching module ("Time" type switch). Calculation of equivalent switching points. Basic provisions of teletraffic theory. Call flows and their classification. Telephone load, its definition, types. Characteristics of the quality of call service by digital and analog PBX. Digital switching system 5ESS: general architecture and main technical parameters of the system. Complete set of switching equipment of OPS 5ESS in the parking garage of the station. Integral blocks of subscriber lines ISLU, AIU. Construction of a Time-Space-Time digital switching field. EWSD digital switching system: architecture and main technical parameters. Construction of digital switching fields of the type "Time-Space-Time" and "Time-Space-Space-Space-Time. Digital switching system SI-2000/v.5: scope of application and main technical parameters of the system. Architecture of CSK SI-2000/v.5. Switching and access nodes SAN, MSAN. Nomenclature of additional types of services. Departmental digital switching system "Kvant-E": architecture and main technical parameters. Algorithms for establishing telephone connections The project of the company "Ukrtelecom" B6. Technology, features of implementation, nomenclature of active cabinets.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of laboratory classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: - selective oral survey before the start of classes; - evaluation of the student's activity in the process of classes, submitted proposals, original solutions, clarifications and definitions, additions to previous answers, etcControl questions are divided into: a) test tasks - choose the correct answers; b) problematic – creation of problematic situations; c) questions-replies - to identify cause-and-effect relationships; d) situational tasks - to determine the answer according to a certain situation; e) issues of a reproductive nature - determination of practical significance. The final control is carried out based on the results of the current control and performance of the control work.

Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
