Мета вивчення дисципліни: To prepare students for production, organizational, managerial, project and research activities in the field of development and operation of mobile information and communication platforms.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ZK-2. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK-8. Ability to identify, pose and solve problems. ZK-10. The desire to preserve the environment. ZK-14. Ability to search and analyze information from various sources. professional competences: FC-2. The ability to solve standard tasks of professional activity on the basis of information and bibliographic culture with the use of information and communication technologies and taking into account the basic requirements of information security. FK-4. Ability to perform computer modeling of devices, systems and processes using universal application program packages. FC-6. The ability to carry out instrumental measurements in information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems. FC-8. Willingness to promote the introduction of promising technologies and standards. FC-13. The ability to organize and implement occupational health and safety measures in the process of operation, maintenance and repair of information and telecommunication network equipment, telecommunication and radio engineering systems.
Learning outcomes: - to be able to evaluate, interpret and synthesize information and data. - to be able to describe the principles and procedures used in telecommunication systems, mobile information communication platforms. - to understand domestic and international normative documents on issues of development, implementation and technical operation of information and telecommunication networks. - to be able to apply knowledge and understanding to identify, formulate and solve technical problems of the specialty, using known methods. - to be able to analyze, argue, make decisions when solving specialized tasks and practical problems of information communications, which are characterized by complexity and incomplete determination of conditions. - to be able to determine and apply methods of testing information and telecommunication networks and telecommunication systems for compliance with the requirements of domestic and international regulatory documents. - to be able to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of methods of designing information and telecommunication networks and telecommunication systems. - to be able to apply the terminology of the telecommunications industry.

Summary of the subject: antenna-feeder devices for mobile information communication platforms, conditions of radio signal propagation, models of radio communication channels, signal coding in mobile communication systems, methods of accessing the radio channel, architecture of mobile information communication platforms, attenuation calculation models, basic technologies of mobile information communication platforms.
Опис: 1. Concept of information and telecommunication technologies, convergence and mobility of technologies. Mobile platforms, classification, characteristics, features. International and domestic standards and regulations that regulate the operation of mobile systems. 2. General principles of functioning of elements of mobile systems and platforms. Classification of transmission media. Satellite communication, broadband communication, radio communication, use of the infrared range. 3. Antennas in mobile communication systems. Types of antennas and their main characteristics. Attenuation and noise, signal/noise ratio of the free medium. Atmospheric absorption and multipath propagation. Types of fading and mathematical models of radio channels. Error compensation methods: direct error correction, adaptive equalization, diversity methods. 4. Methods and criteria of signal coding in mobile communication systems. Modulation methods. Broadening the spectrum. Jump-like frequency adjustment. Multi-frequency manipulation. 5. Ways to access the radio channel: SDMA, FDMA, TDMA, CDMA. Advantages and methods of combining modes of access to the radio channel. 6. Mobile services. Carrier services, telecommunications and additional services. 7. General architecture of the GSM-900 system. Using the frequency range. Elements of architecture and their purpose. Mobile station, parameters and characteristics. Base station, ensemble of base stations. Interfaces and their connection with services. Mobile communication services and their parameters. 8. Construction and organization of frequencies in an ensemble of base stations. Calculation of subscriber load. Damping calculation: Hata, Okamura-Hata, Walfisch-Ikegami, Lee models, engineering methods for damping calculation. Attenuation in the near and far zones. Attenuation in high-rise buildings, "medium", "small" cities and rural areas. 9. Physical layer, data layer and network layer in mobile communication systems. Use of databases in GSM-900/1800 systems. Types of packets and channels, signaling system. Switching and transit station. Numbering system. Operation and maintenance kit. Register of own and guest stations. 10. Bluetooth technology. Editions 1.0-5.2. Bluetooth profiles. Connection initialization, key generation, authentication. Bluetooth hardware and software. 11. Attenuation calculation for Wi-Fi equipment according to models: COST-231 Hata, COST-231 WI, ESS-33, Ericsson, SUI, modified models of the IEEE802.16 Relay standard, A/B/C LOS/NLOS ART path loss models /BRT. 14. LoRaWAN, LoWPAN, 6LoWPAN technology networks. LoRaWAN, LoWPAN, 6LoWPAN network deployment. Possibilities of their use and standards. IoT networks, their deployment and use in Ukraine.

Examination control (EC): written component - 50 points, oral component - 20 points. The total number of points for SC: SС= EC+СC = 70+30 = 100 points. Exam: is assessed by written and oral components (the exam ticket contains questions of three difficulty levels, the maximum number of points is 70); current control: the total number of points for the performance of laboratory work (completed laboratory reports are submitted in writing and defended orally, the maximum number of points is 30).

Learning outcomes: - to know the main types and features of the functioning of mobile information and communication platforms; - know models for calculating parameters of mobile information and communication platforms; - be able to design a mobile information communication network in accordance with the given technology and input parameters; - be able to calculate the main characteristics and parameters of the designed mobile information communication network.

At this stage, user needs are analyzed, information objects and their characteristics are selected, and the subject area is structured based on the analysis. Logical design. Development of a scheme focused on selected mobile platforms. Choosing a mobile information communication platform. Representation of a conceptual scheme and a logical scheme. Calculation of parameters and characteristics of the mobile information communication network. Implementation of the network design task and its optimization. Development of recommendations for improving the network and analysis of opportunities for further development of the mobile information and communication network. Protection of term paper.
Assessment methods and criteria: - demonstration of the created mobile information communication network; - checking the optimality and accuracy of the calculated characteristics and parameters of the designed mobile information communication network; - report verification - 100%.
