Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline is for students to master the basic theoretical principles, calculation methods and principles of designing modern feeder microwave devices and antennas, familiarization with modern methods of designing microwave devices and antennas of various types using computer tools. The study of the discipline should provide students with knowledge of the role and place of antenna-feeder tracts in wireless information transmission systems in various frequency ranges.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competencies: Ability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. Ability to plan and manage time. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. Ability to work in a team. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge. Ability to identify, pose and solve problems. Ability to system thinking. professional competences: The ability to solve standard tasks of professional activity on the basis of information and bibliographic culture with the use of information and communication technologies and taking into account the basic requirements of information security. Ability to use basic methods, methods and means of obtaining, transmitting, processing and storing information. Ability to perform computer modeling of devices, systems and processes using universal application program packages. The ability to carry out instrumental measurements in information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems.
Learning outcomes: The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented specialties in the field of radio electronic circuits and circuit engineering, electromagnetic field theory, radio electronic systems theory, telecommunication network theory, automatic control theory, methods of analysis of radio electronic and telecommunication systems and networks, design and production processes, hardware and software programming systems, administration of information networks, information protection, information technologies. Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the current state of affairs and the latest technologies in the field of telecommunications and radio engineering. Application of understanding the main properties of the component base to ensure the quality and reliability of the functioning of telecommunications, radio engineering systems and devices. Competently use the terminology of the field of telecommunications and radio engineering Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions
Required prior and related subjects: Previous academic disciplines: Higher mathematics, Physics, Electrodynamics and propagation of radio waves; Associated and subsequent educational disciplines: Fundamentals of the theory of radio technical systems, Radio communication and information transmission systems, Security devices and systems.
Summary of the subject: In the process of teaching the discipline, the theory and principles of operation and construction of feeder devices and antennas and their application in radio engineering systems are considered. Their constructive implementation, methods of calculation and experimental research are studied. Considerable attention is paid to the influence of the parameters of antenna-feeder devices on the indicators of radio engineering systems.

Mutual feeder devices by functional purpose. Classification of antennas. Main characteristics and parameters of antennas. Elementary emitters. Linear electric vibrator. Theory of receiving antennas. Emitter grids. Radiating flat surfaces and openings. Antennas of ultra-short waves. Aperture antennas
Assessment methods and criteria: Current monitoring of laboratory classes is carried out in order to identify the student's readiness for classes in the following forms: a selective oral survey before the start of classes; assessment of student activity during classes, Control questions are divided into: Test, problem, replica questions, situational tasks, questions of a reproductive nature ? The final control is carried out based on the results of the current control and examination.
