Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the discipline is for the student to acquire modern knowledge and skills in the direction of guaranteeing employees in the telecommunications and radio engineering industry and forming social responsibility for ensuring the appropriate level of safe work, assimilation of material and cultural values ??within scientifically based criteria of acceptable risk. The formation of a culture of safety and risk-oriented thinking among students, in which the issue of protecting and preserving the life and health of personnel, as well as maintaining the appropriate level of work capacity, are considered as the most important priorities in professional activity. The task of studying the discipline involves ensuring the guarantee of the preservation of health and working capacity of employees in the telecommunications industry through effective management of labor safety and improvement of working conditions, taking into account the achievements of scientific and technical progress and international experience, as well as in the awareness of the inseparable unity of successful professional activity with mandatory compliance all labor safety requirements in the industry. Students should know safe software and hardware support of radio technical and telecommunication systems and networks, optimal working conditions and regimes during their development and use based on modern technological and scientific achievements in the field of occupational health and safety; as well as the basics of work physiology and psychology, which ensure the safe use of telecommunication and radio technical systems, and methods of reducing professional stress.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: - ZK2. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations; - ZK9. Skills for performing safe activities; - ZK10. Efforts to preserve the environment; professional: – FK6. Ability to perform instrumental measurements in information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio engineering systems; – FK7. Readiness to monitor compliance and ensure environmental safety; – FK8. Willingness to promote the introduction of promising technologies and standards; – FK11. The ability to compile normative documentation (instructions) for operational and technical maintenance of information and telecommunication networks, telecommunication and radio technical systems, as well as according to test programs; FK13. The ability to organize and carry out occupational health and safety measures in the process of operation, maintenance and repair of information and telecommunication network equipment, telecommunication and radio engineering systems.

The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the basics of professionally oriented specialties in the field of radio electronic circuits and circuit engineering, theory of electromagnetic fields, theory of radio electronic systems, theory of telecommunication networks, theory of automatic control, methods of analysis of radio electronic and telecommunication systems and networks, design and production processes, programming software and hardware systems, administration of information networks, information protection, information technologies. Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
