Summary of the subject: The subject "Architectural graphics and composition, part 2" allows you to master the basic principles and methods of architectural design of small architectural objects in the urban space, elements of design graphics in the design of drawings. A number of individual practical tasks are provided: depiction of drawing elements using black-and-white and color design graphics, study of planning and design features of recreation areas in the urban environment; development of an architectural solution for a small architectural structure of a certain function (trade kiosk with an open fast food area; a fair building, an informational element of urban design, etc.) with a selection of finishing materials. The main principles of placement of small architectural objects in the urban environment, on private plots, taking into account functional features, natural environmental conditions, and climatic factors, are considered. Design tasks involve the development of sketch options and the adoption of an optimal compositional solution; modeling and rendering of an architectural structure in different spatial perspectives and defined scales; expressive presentation of the design solution. Works are performed in various graphic techniques and materials (pencil, ink, watercolor, colored pencil) on A3 format.
Опис: Familiarization with the techniques of design graphics. Task "Elements of the general plan" in linear black and white graphics. Task "Entourage, staffing" in linear black-and-white and color graphics. Mastering the methods of depicting and stylizing plant forms, studying their design, form, and structure. Comparison of scale, proportions of elements. Sketches of the perspective of a fragment of a park, a street, a city square. Familiarization with the specifics of open areas, ergonomics and design of street furniture, standards for designing recreation areas in an urban environment. Analysis of architectural analogues. Selection of the location of the site (in the city / on a residential area / sports / children's), analysis of urban planning conditions, implementation of a situational scheme, pre-project analysis. Execution of a working layout of the site, variant modeling, execution of additional drawings (general plan, perspective of the site), sketches of the urban environment. Acquaintance with the types of small architectural objects in the city, determination of functional and structural features, development of a sketch project of a small architectural structure of a certain function with an open area, search for the optimal architectural composition, implementation of the layout, image of the perspective of the object in the environment, selection of finishing materials, decor , advertising elements.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: checking of individual tasks. Final control: evaluation of calculation and graphic work, differentiated credit (summary of current control evaluations, Calculation and graphic work)

Final control: evaluation of calculation and graphic work, differentiated credit (summary of current control evaluations, Calculation and graphic work)
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Topic 1. Design graphics techniques - 30 points. Topic 2. Grounds - 30 points. Calculation and graphic work "Small architectural objects - 40 points
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
