To know the basic principles and principles of architectural and urban planning activities. LO 04. Evaluate the factors and requirements that determine the prerequisites for architectural and urban design. LO 05. Apply the basic theories of design, reconstruction and restoration of architectural and urban planning, architectural, environmental and landscape objects, modern methods and technologies, international and domestic experience to solve complex specialised problems of architecture and urban planning. LO 06. Collect, analyse and evaluate information from various sources necessary to make informed design, architectural and urban planning decisions. LO 09. Apply modern theoretical, methodological and typological approaches to solving problems of formation and development of the architectural, urban and landscape environment.
Required prior and related subjects: Prior subjects: 1. Fundamentals of Architectural Design; 2. Design of Architectural Environment; 3. History of Modern Architecture; Related subjects: 1. Architecture of Multi-Apartment Housing; 2. Reconstruction and Restoration of Architectural Objects.
Summary of the subject: Designing interiors as a type of activity requires appropriate special training, knowledge of the history and basic principles of architecture, functions and equipment, structures, understanding of form, plasticity, light, colour, texture and texture in the interior. The image of an interior is perceived by a person as a whole. At the same time, for professional mastery of the peculiarities of interior design, you need to know the process of forming a whole from separately formed elements and organising means. The discipline outlines the general theoretical principles of designing and equipping the interiors of residential and public buildings.
Опис: 1. Introductory lecture. The essence of the interior and its features. The main features of the interior, the proximity of the interior to the person, the dynamic nature of the interior, its rational expediency. The use of scientific data in interior design. Environmental feasibility and social character of the interior. 2-4. A brief overview of the development of interiors in different historical periods. 5. The importance of the interior in the overall architectural composition of the building. Organisation of interior space, types of volumetric and spatial structures. Tectonic expression of interior space, the role of rhythm in the perception of spatial structure, large-scale relationships. Real and illusory space. 6-8 Tasks and material means in interior architecture. Light in architecture. Arrangement of lighting systems in the interior. Colour in the interior, the law of colour mixing, psycho-physiological effects of colour. 9-11. Furniture in the interior. Classification of furniture products by functional, architectural and planning features. Functional expediency of furniture. Influence of material and processing methods on the shaping of furniture. 12-15. Monumental and decorative art in interiors and furniture. The main methods of depicting monumental and decorative painting. Modern techniques of monumental and decorative painting. Decorative fabrics in interiors. Landscaping in the interiors of public and residential buildings.
Assessment methods and criteria: The main method of control and assessment of students' knowledge in the discipline "Design and Equipment of Interiors of Residential and Public Objects" is a written survey and standardised control. Written questioning (independent completion of individual tasks) is carried out both in and out of class. When checking these works, the main attention is paid to the relevance of the work to the topic, the completeness of the topic, the sequence of presentation, and the independence of judgements. Standardised testing is the use of a multiple-choice test methodology. In this case, the student is offered not only the answers themselves, but also their digital codes (usually the number of the answer option). The main forms of control of students' knowledge are control during lectures and practical classes, extracurricular control, and test control. Lecture control is conducted as a selective oral questioning of students or with the use of tests on previously taught material, especially on the sections of the course that are necessary to understand the topic of the lecture being taught or to establish the degree of mastery of the lecture material. The current control at the lecture is designed to accustom students to systematically studying the material covered and preparing for the upcoming lecture, to establish the degree of mastery of the theory, to identify the most difficult sections for students to understand and then explain them. The time allocated for the control oral examination is 5 minutes. Control outside of class time includes: checking the progress of individual assignments. The quality and accuracy of performance, accuracy and originality of solutions, review of specialised literature, availability of research elements, completion of the assignment in the prescribed volume in accordance with the specified deadlines are assessed; checking lecture notes and recommended literature; individual interview with the student at consultations; holding educational competitions; A differentiated test is the final stage of the entire discipline and is intended to test students' knowledge of the theory and skills of independent work with scientific literature. The final assessment consists of current control (completion of an individual assignment, results of the assessment of relevance in lectures and practical classes) and the completion of a final test.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: A test (differentiated test) is a form of final control, which consists in assessing the student's mastery of the discipline in total for all types of work provided for by the work programme of the discipline: 1. Practical work is assessed at 30 points. The deadline for practical work is the last practical lesson. Practical work is performed by the student in accordance with the guidelines and is evaluated by the teacher according to the following criteria - student's presence at the practical lesson and participation in the discussion of theoretical issues - 5 points; - argumentation of the prepared information for the practical lesson during its defence - 15 points; - completion of the practical work in accordance with the established requirements and compliance with the deadlines for its submission to the VLE - 10 points. 2. Work at lectures and practical classes is assessed at 5 points. 3. The final test task is assessed at 65 points automatically in the VNS. The deadline for completing the final test is 30 minutes, on the day assigned during the test week.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
