Summary of the subject: This discipline is the third part of the group of disciplines "Drawing, painting, sculpture", which consists of three parts. This stage of studying visual disciplines by architects consists in mastering the principles of depicting complex groups of objects, interior, urban architectural environment and man in the architectural environment. The study of the discipline takes place in the conditions of drawing from nature and imagination. The learning process is accompanied by the provision of individual consultations by the teacher while working on the task. Educational productions are distributed in a certain methodical sequence according to the complexity of the tasks. The main topics of this course are architecture and its environment. Tasks gradually develop from volumetric-spatial (realistic) solutions to solutions for the application of stylization. Part of the tasks are performed in painting technique. They are primarily devoted to the study of the peculiarities of the distribution of light in space and human perception of color in the conditions of the architectural environment, creative approaches in the application of the principles of generalization and stylization.
Опис: Auditory work. Topic 1. Picture: Sketches of the urban historical architectural environment in plein air conditions. Theme 2. Drawing: cascading still life of household objects with an architectural detail. Tone-constructive drawing. Topic 3. Painting: decorative stylization of still life. Topic 4. Drawing: tonal and constructive drawing of human figures in an interior environment. Topic 5. Drawing: sketches and decorative stylization of human figures. Independent work. Task 1. Picture: an architectural ensemble or a street ensemble with human figures. Task 2 Painting: decorative stylization of architecture.
Assessment methods and criteria: Determining the level of students' knowledge is carried out by the following methods: current control of the student's classroom and independent work at the end of each topic. Current control: evaluation of tasks completed in laboratory classes, checking of individual tasks of independent work. Final control: summation of grades for laboratory work assignments and independent work assignments.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: The composition of the drawing elements on the sheet is evaluated. Definition of the general nature of the forms. Proportional relationships and constructive analysis of forms. Perspective construction of forms - the correctness of volume construction taking into account perspective reductions relative to the horizon line. Volume detection. The transfer using chiaroscuro, the volume of forms and their components, the ratio of chiaroscuro work, the transmission of reflexes, own and falling shadows is evaluated. Technique of performance. The mastery of the technique of pencil graphics, the quality of applying hatching to convey the effects of aerial perspective and the texture of the surface of forms are evaluated. The quality of the color solution for paintings. Integrity and completeness of work. Creative approach in performing decorative stylization tasks and independent works.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100-88 points - certified with an “excellent” grade - High level: the student demonstrates an in-depth mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, systematic knowledge, skills and abilities of their practical application. The mastered knowledge, skills and abilities provide the ability to independently formulate goals and organize learning activities, search and find solutions in non-standard, atypical educational and professional situations. The applicant demonstrates the ability to make generalizations based on critical analysis of factual material, ideas, theories and concepts, to formulate conclusions based on them. His/her activity is based on interest and motivation for self-development, continuous professional development, independent research activities, implemented with the support and guidance of the teacher. 87-71 points - certified with a grade of “good” - Sufficient level: involves mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at an advanced level, conscious use of knowledge, skills and abilities to reveal the essence of the issue. Possession of a partially structured set of knowledge provides the ability to apply it in familiar educational and professional situations. Aware of the specifics of tasks and learning situations, the student demonstrates the ability to search for and choose their solution according to the given sample, to argue for the use of a particular method of solving the problem. Their activities are based on interest and motivation for self-development and continuous professional development. 70-50 points - certified with a grade of “satisfactory” - Satisfactory level: outlines the mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline at the average level, partial awareness of educational and professional tasks, problems and situations, knowledge of ways to solve typical problems and tasks. The applicant demonstrates an average level of skills and abilities to apply knowledge in practice, and solving problems requires assistance, support from a model. The basis of learning activities is situational and heuristic, dominated by motives of duty, unconscious use of opportunities for self-development. 49-00 points - certified with a grade of “unsatisfactory” - Unsatisfactory level: indicates an elementary mastery of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of the discipline, a general understanding of the content of the educational material, partial use of knowledge, skills and abilities. The basis of learning activities is situational and pragmatic interest.
