Мета вивчення дисципліни: "Engineering and computer graphics" is an educational discipline that includes elements of graphic geometry and technical drawing, which form the basis of engineering training of students. Students' mastery of the basics of these courses contributes to the development of independent technical creativity skills in them, which is an indispensable prerequisite for the engineering activity of future specialists. The purpose of studying this discipline is for students to acquire the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for the reproduction of technical ideas in the language of graphic representation in drawings and their accompanying technical documentation, as well as the knowledge and skills necessary for understanding and understanding the constructions and principles of operation shown on the drawings technical products and objects. The mastering of this discipline by students ensures the development of their spatial imagination, the formation of constructive and geometric thinking in students based on graphic models of spatial forms, the acquisition of knowledge and skills necessary for the execution and reading of drawings of parts and assembly units, the development of sketches and the creation of design documentation necessary for production etc.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: - ZK01. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. - distinguish between images of objects in projection systems (orthogonal projections, axonometric projections); - depict geometric figures (in orthogonal, axonometric projections); - using Cartesian coordinates to build an image of a given object; - to determine the relative position of two elementary geometric figures in the drawing - belonging to each other, - intersection and parallelism, to represent the position of the figures in relation to the projection planes; - build orthogonal projections of mutually perpendicular lines and planes; to solve metric tasks using the method of replacing projection planes and rotation around axes (lines of a special position); - solve positional tasks using the following methods: intersecting planes and auxiliary spheres; - build projections of points belonging to a plane or surface; - build images of surfaces: faces and rotation; - determine the natural size of flat sections; - construct intersection points of a straight line with a polyhedron and with bodies of rotation; professional competences: - FK8. Ability to design electrical systems taking into account the requirements of relevant regulatory documents and international standards. - FK9. The ability to freely use modern computer and information technologies to solve professional tasks, to program and use applied and specialized computer-integrated environments for solution of energy network design problems. - mastering the specifics of machine-building drawing, in particular the ability to develop and read design documentation - drawings, diagrams, accompanying technical documentation.

Summary of the subject: Within the scope of the discipline, the basics of engineering and computer graphics are highlighted as the basis of engineering training of students. In the "Engineering graphics" section, the theory of projection systems, properties of depicted elementary figures, methods and algorithms for solving complex and metric problems of a positional and metric nature are studied. The presented methods of sketch geometry make it possible to achieve clarity of images. Topics of the section: Subject of sketch geometry; task of a point, line, plane and polyhedra on a complex Monge drawing; surfaces of revolution, polyhedra; design documentation; design of drawings; elements of geometry of parts; images, inscriptions, designations; axonometric projections of details; image and designation of elements of details; the image and designation of the thread; working drawings of details; making sketches of machine parts; images of assembly units; detailing the assembly drawing of the products. In the "Computer graphics" section, the issue of the projection image of technical products, nodes and details by means of the AutoCAD graphic editor is considered. Basic commands for drawing and editing graphic objects are studied. The methods of forming flat drawings and their output for printing are presented. Complete mastery of drawing as a means of expressing technical thought is achieved as a result of mastering graphic geometry and technical drawing and is improved by the use of computer technology.
