Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of the study of this discipline is to provide students with in-depth basic knowledge of the course of nuclear physics, knowledge of its terminology, basic concepts, provisions and physical laws, methods and principles of both the theoretical solution of problems and the performance of a nuclear physics experiment and the processing of its results. As a result of studying the discipline, students must master the knowledge necessary for mastering the principles and modern calculation methods of nuclear processes for the analysis, calculation and optimization of processes and installations in nuclear energy.
Завдання: As a result of the study of the academic discipline, the student should be able to demonstrate the ability to solve specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of nuclear energy or in the process of study. The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: integral: - the ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems during professional activities in the field of atomic energy or in the process of learning, which involves the application of theories and methods of atomic, neutron and nuclear physics, heat and mass transfer, technical thermodynamics and are characterized by the complexity and uncertainty of conditions. general: - ability to apply knowledge in practice; - the ability to search and analyze information from various sources; - the ability to solve tasks and make appropriate decisions; - the potential for further education.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PR1 (Knowledge and understanding of mathematics, physics, chemistry and engineering sciences at the level necessary to achieve the results of the educational program, including some awareness of the latest achievements in the field) Lectures, laboratory and practical classes - information-receptive method, reproductive method, heuristic method, independent work - reproductive method, research method Current control - performance and defense of practical and laboratory works, oral examination. Exam - written survey, test control PR7 (Use scientific and technical literature, databases and other relevant sources of information for the development and justification of technical and managerial decisions in nuclear energy) Lectures and practical classes - information-receptive method, reproductive method, heuristic method, problem presentation method. Independent work: reproductive method Current control – performance and defense of practical works, oral and frontal examination PR10 (Know and understand the main methods and means of experimental research in atomic energy, be able to plan and carry out experimental research, evaluate the accuracy and reliability of their results, draw reasonable conclusions taking into account modern knowledge on the relevant subject) Lectures and practical classes - information-receptive method, reproductive method, heuristic method. Independent work: reproductive method Current control - performance and protection of practical works. Exam - written survey, test control
