Gained competence: 1. biotransformation, biodetoxication, biodegradation, bioconversion, cell and genetic bioengineering; 2. Morphology and physiology of biological agents used in biotechnological processes (microorganisms, fungi, plants, animals, viruses, individual components); 3. Genetic features of bioagents improvement, including the use of transformations in the structure of the hereditary apparatus and in the functional activity of biological agents; 4. Main bases of development of biotechnologies of biotechnological products production in various spheres of industrial application of bioprocesses, including clearing of ecosystems of environment and for protection of health; 5. Design methodologies for the production of biotechnological products for various purposes, conducting scientific and technical developments, performing technical and economic assessment of production, management and marketing in biotechnology; 6. Construction principles and operation of modern equipment and equipment of biotechnological productions; 7. Structures and functioning of enterprises in the field of biotechnology; 8. Implementation of computer technologies in biotechnology.
1. To use professional knowledge and practical skills to solve specific problems in the field of biotechnology using technological equipment of biotechnological productions; 2. To use knowledge of biochemical processes in the cell and the structural organization of the cell, methods of its research for biotechnological processes and the provision of professional training services for bioagents for related industries, health and environmental protection; 3. Organize the production of biopreparats and biological products by different methods and techniques; 4. To control the quality of raw materials. materials, intermediates, target products of biotechnological production; as well as control of bioagents and bioprocesses at critical points during the production process; 5. Carrying out the technological process of production of biopreparats, bioproducts, and new materials by methods of biosynthesis, biocatalysis or biotransformation to ensure compliance with the technological parameters of biotechnology; 6. Apply the provisions of regulatory and technical documents governing the order of products certification, requirements for the organization of quality management systems in enterprises, rules for technical documentation and technological process, based on knowledge gained during practical training; 7. To participate in the organization of production of biotechnological products, modernization of biotechnological productions and productions where bioprocesses and bioagents are used.
1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written forms of communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German). 2. Ability to use a variety of methods, including modern information technology, to communicate effectively at the professional and social levels.

Occupational profiles of graduates: Employment is carried out by performing professional activities in accordance with the names of economic activities provided in the National Classification of Ukraine: Classification of economic activities (NKU: NACE DK 009: 2012) and the National Classification of Ukraine: Classification of occupations (NKU: KP 2012). Production functions - technological, analytical, production, design, inspection and management in the field of production of biological products and biological products for the needs of the national economy for production-technological and design work of biotechnological productions, as well as providing professional services for other industries, health care I and environmental ecology for the preparation and control of bioprocesses, bioagents and bioproducts in accordance with regulations (according to NKU: NACE DK 009: 2012). Occupied primary positions do not require from graduates of the educational institution previous experience of professional practical activity (work experience) - 3211 - biotechnology specialist; 3211- laboratory assistant (biological research); 3211 - laboratory technician; 3219 - laboratory assistant (biotechnology) and hold other positions (3520 - specialist in fermentation production; 3530 - specialist in dairy production; 7412 - worker on yeast; 8279 - yeast cultivation apparatus, fermentation process apparatus, nutrient solution preparer) by profession Biotechnologist : KP DK 003: 2010 dod A; changes 2019).
