Required prior and related subjects: Pre-requisites: hygiene, human diagnostics and eco-monitoring; cell biology; general microbiology and virology; biochemistry Co-requisites: general biotechnology, P.1
Summary of the subject: Choose the subject from the list of the course work in VLE or choose another (coordination of the topic name of the CW with the teacher is mandatory). Study literary sources. Introduce the CW according to the following scheme: Title page; Contents, which contains the Introduction, the Main part with Sections and Subsections; Conclusions; List of sources used, as well as the numbering of pages where they are. If necessary, make a List of abbreviations after the content. The work begins with an Introduction, on a separate page - The Main part, which presents selected, processed and systematized material from literary sources. After each using in the text a piece of information should indicate its source from the list of sources in square brackets, for example, [1], [2,3,4]. The numbering of literary sources in the text of the CW is thorough. Similar numbering is in the List of used sources. The work should contain drawings, photographs, diagrams, tables, schemes that illustrate the theoretical part. Their numbering is also thorough. At the end of the work conclusions are made and a list of sources used is given. Each of these sections begins on a separate page. After registration of the work the student makes a presentation on the topic of CW. The first page should contain the name of the CW, the name of the student who did the work, his group and the name of the teacher who took the job. Next are slides with a laconic presentation of the processed material. Slides numbers are required! Photographs, drawings, diagrams, etc. are used on the slides for greater visibility. At the end, separate slides provide conclusions and a list of sources used. Slide with the inscription "Thank you for attention!" is dispensable.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Registration CW – 60 points • Presentation CW – 40 points
