Мета вивчення дисципліни: The course of the educational discipline "Fundamentals of project and computer graphics, part 1" consists of three blocks: "Project graphics"; "Engineering graphics"; "Computer Graphics". The block "Project graphics" introduces students to various graphic techniques for further design of project solutions. The goal is to master the technical means of expression used in artistic design and to get acquainted with the specifics of the graphic display of the forms of objects in printing, advertising, industrial and interior design. The block "Engineering graphics" is aimed at forming students' knowledge for the competent design of design and work documentation, in accordance with generally accepted state norms and rules. And also for the development of students' spatial thinking and the ability to read drawings. The "Computer graphics" unit is aimed at familiarizing students with the basic concepts of computer graphics, graphic file formats and various types of graphic editors, their specifics and scope of application. The purpose of the unit is the formation of basic knowledge in the field of creating and editing graphic files using software.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: INT The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of design, or in the learning process, which involves the application of certain design theories and methods and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions. General competences: GC1. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. GC2. Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. GC4. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. GC6. The ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of the work performed. Special (professional, subject) competences: CS2. The ability to form, layout and model design objects. CS3. Ability to perform composite construction of design objects. CS4. Ability to apply project graphics skills in professional activities. CS7. Ability to use modern software to create design objects. CS10. Ability to apply knowledge of applied sciences in professional activity (by specialization).
Learning outcomes: The task of the block "Project graphics" is to acquaint students with the peculiarities of graphic design solutions, as a result of training the student will be able to: - to transform creative ideas in practice; - in accordance with the given topics to select graphic materials; - understand the patterns of phased and methodical work with the use of various graphic techniques; - have professional terminology. As a result of studying the block "Engineering Graphics" the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: - know the basic rules of graphic design, submission of drawings and rules for constructing projections of three-dimensional spatial objects, axonometric images; - be able to draw up project documentation in accordance with state standards; - work with two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms in accordance with modern requirements for design and engineering graphics. The task of the block "Computer Graphics" is to acquaint students with the basics of computer graphics and the formation of basic knowledge about graphic editors and their purpose. As a result of the study the student must: - Distinguish between vector and raster graphics; - Focus on the types of graphic editors and understand the solution what tasks they are focused on; - Master the basic color models in computer graphics; - Know the purpose of basic tools in raster and vector graphic editors. As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PLO7. Analyze, stylize, interpret and transform objects to develop artistic and design solutions. PLO9. Create design objects by means of design and graphic modeling. PLO 11. Develop a compositional solution of design objects in the appropriate techniques and materials. PLO 12. To comply with design standards and manufacturing technologies of design objects in professional activities. PLO 17. Apply modern general and specialized software in professional activities (by specialization). PLO 18. Display morphological, stylistic and color-textural properties of design objects. Communication (COM) COM1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); COM.2 The ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. Autonomy and responsibility (AaR) AaR1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions. AaR2. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired new professional knowledge. AaR3. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. AaR4. The ability to popularize national and world cultural heritage, as well as to promote manifestations of patriotism, national self-awareness and ethno-cultural self-identification. AaR5. The ability to form environmental consciousness and personal culture, to apply ecological principles in life and professional activity.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control: assessment of practical tasks and activity in the classroom in order to check the level of acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the student. The overall grade is the sum of the student's scores for current work during the semester and КP. Final control: differentiated test. Total for the discipline - 100 points: 80 points - practical tasks; 20 points - сoursework.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: When evaluating tasks, the quality and completeness of their execution, understanding of the task and the logic of its solution in a visual form are taken into account; - the ability to select and apply the necessary materials and tools for the implementation of tasks; - the ability to independently work with additional sources, analyze analogues, samples, compare and choose the most appropriate option; - creation of a creative solution based on technical and artistic principles.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
