Required prior and related subjects: Previous disciplines: Drawing, painting, sculpture part 1, part 2, part 3, Composition and shaping in design, History of art, architecture and design part 1, part 2, Basics of design and computer graphics Related and the following disciplines: Drawing, painting, sculpture part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, 3D modeling, Conceptual design, Multimedia design, History of art, architecture and design part 3, part 4, part 5.
Summary of the subject: The discipline "Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Part 4" is consistently based on auxiliary topics of theoretical and practical provisions that reveal the basic laws of the process of drawing and painting. The educational work is accompanied by a short theoretical presentation in the form of explanations of teachers in the process of performing tasks, or in introductory lectures, which open the relevant topics. Compositional options, tools, techniques, materials - are selected depending on the topic of the task and the duration of the academic drawing. The basics of painting and drawing are studied in still lifes, in the interior, in the open air, in living models, in the study of plaster casts of heads, and educational productions are distributed in a certain methodological sequence according to the complexity of the task. Primary skills in painting are well mastered in the studios of still life (still lifes). Productions should be varied according to the nature of the program tasks. The main studies take place under natural side lighting. These include the staging of a three-dimensional (realistic) solution. Still life with a specific color palette (monochrome, polychrome, nuance, contrast) deserve special attention in the study of color. The study of color with the help of direct lighting leads to a decorative-plane solution of the problem. Studying such productions will help designers to use the acquired skills in further creative work and project activities. In parallel with the study of color, attention is paid to the tone of colored spots, the light dominant in the composition is sought. Linear constructive analysis is used to understand the volume and functionality of a form. Light shadow solution by dividing the light into shadows for competent expression and interpretation of the volume of the form. The main themes of painting and drawing are: realistic and decorative still lifes, human portraits, sketches and sketches of zoological forms, architectural zoological form, architecture and plein air painting. Compositional options, tools, techniques, materials are selected depending on the topic of the task and its duration. The study of the proposed course orients students to the visual analytical and creative process and directs to the independent search for ideas and solutions in practical tasks. All this should influence the artistic thinking and formation of the aesthetic sense of the student-designer, teaches him to have practical skills in order to convey their ideas and feelings in the future.
Опис: Laboratory classes - 90 hours. (full-time education), 18 hours. (external form of education). Name of works: 1. Chiaroscuro drawing of a characteristic mold antique or Renaissance head. 2. Still life with plaster mask for side lighting (monochromy, simple solution). 3. Tonal drawing of the head. Nature. 4. Still life with an antique head on clear colored background, (polychrome solution). 5. Decorative composition based on previous ones still lifes Independent work of students - 90 hours. (full-time education), 152 hours (external form of education). 1. Sketches of zoological forms in the museum. 2. Interpretation, transformation of preliminary sketches into creative work. 3. Assessment methods and criteria: The level of students' knowledge is determined by the following methods: control classroom and independent student work; Attestation is a mandatory final form of control that provides an opportunity to evaluate systematic assimilation of educational material from "Painting, drawing, sculpture, part 4" and reduced to the current forms of control; Laboratory tasks are subject to periodic inspection with recording of the stage of their execution in the journal; Evaluation of works takes place after the completion of each task; Credit assessment is set "automatically".
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: During the semester, a student can score 100 points for 10 graphic tasks. The average score for classroom tasks is calculated as follows: sum the number of points for each of the tasks and divide by their number.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: Constituent components of assessment of student work in the direction of "Drawing" 1) Compositional arrangement of the image on the paper plane and definition of the general nature of the forms. 2) Proportional relationship between forms and constructive-perspective relationship of main dimensions and volumes. 3) Prospective construction of forms and their components. Identifying degrees of tonal relationships associated with spatial placement and distance of forms from the light source. 4) Volume modeling with tone. Bringing all components to a whole perception, ensuring the relationship of tone and construction. 5) Bringing the drawing of all its components into a single integral composition by means of plastic and technical means. 100-88 points - grade "A" ("excellent") 87-80 points - grade B ("very good") 79-71 points - grade C ("good") Constituent components of the assessment of student work in the direction "Painting". 1) Compositional location of the image on the format plane and determination of the general nature of the forms. 2) Proportional relationship between forms and constructive-perspective relationship of main dimensions and volumes. 3) Prospective construction of forms and their components. Identifying degrees of tonal relationships associated with spatial placement and distance of forms from the light source. 4) Volume modeling with tone. Bringing all color components to a single perception, ensuring the relationship of tone and design. 5) Bringing the color of all its components into a single integral color composition by means of plastic and technical means. Rating scale: 100-88 points - grade "A" ("excellent") 87-80 points - grade B ("very good") 79-71 points - grade C ("good") 70-61 points - grade D ("mediocre") 60-50 points - grade E ("satisfactory") 49-26 points - FX rating ("unsatisfactory" with the possibility of re-scoring) 25-00 points grade F ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory restudy)
