Summary of the subject: The course "Design of subject-spatial environment" is designed for one semester of study and is taught in the 5th semester after the course "Fundamentals of design of subject-spatial environment". The course covers in detail the topics of individual types of subject-spatial environment. Students study the theoretical features of the design of the subject-spatial environment of multifunctional zones of public urban space and educational, recreational and game zones of the educational environment, which qualitatively complements the disclosure of the topic of subject-spatial environment design in previous, related and subsequent professional disciplines. The sequence of presentation involves revealing the design of the subject environment at different levels of complexity of the environment. With the help of lectures of the theoretical part of the course, students are provided with important information related to the peculiarities of perception, influencing factors and design tools in the formation of the subject-spatial environment of residential, public and urban interior. The purpose of practical classes is to consolidate theoretical knowledge through the implementation of conceptual proposals on given topics. The performance of independent work consists in the performance of an individual scientific research task, the completion of tasks of classroom work, the performance of control work, preparation for classes and control activities.
Опис: Topics of lectures. Methodical organization of the architectural design process. Design of the subject-spatial environment of the open public space of the city. Basic requirements for open public spaces with communication and recreational functions. Objects of design activity on the functional and aesthetic organization of the open public space of the city. Design of the subject-spatial environment of children's educational institutions; typology and general requirements for interior design of children's educational institutions; typology of furniture and equipment; Artistic and aesthetic possibilities of forming a subject-spatial environment. Forming the results of research into the design of the subject-spatial environment of public spaces. Topics of practical classes. Performing a pre-project analysis of the subject-spatial environment of the open public space of the city (street or square) with a proposal to increase the comfort level of the environment by means of design. Execution of a sketch concept of a multifunctional design element in an urban environment. Design of educational and game subject-spatial environment. Execution of a sketch concept of the design of the enclosing surfaces of the given room, showing the three-dimensional solution of furniture and equipment in the given room.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Methods of diagnostics of knowledge: practical testing of student activity in the process of performing practical tasks, checking completed tasks, listening to reports on the results of tests, test control of learning theoretical material in a virtual learning environment.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: • Evaluation criteria: current control of tasks 60%, final control (test control and control work) - 40%.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
