Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of studying the discipline "Fundamentals of design of the subject environment" is to deepen the professional knowledge of students in their comprehensive training by profession, by familiarizing them with the basic theoretical foundations, principles and methods of designing elements of the subject-spatial environment that surrounds a person. As a result of the lecture course, students should have an idea of the place and role of the designer in the development of a harmonious subject-spatial environment. The course involves an extended study of theoretical and methodological approaches and concepts in design: first, as systems of views, forms of existence of theoretical knowledge and skills; secondly, as elements of creativity, project ideas and ideas.
Завдання: The study of an academic discipline involves the formation and development of students' competencies: INT. The ability to solve complex specialized tasks and practical problems in the field of design, or in the learning process, which involves the application of certain design theories and methods and is characterized by complexity and uncertainty of conditions. General competences: GC1. Knowledge and understanding of the subject area and understanding of professional activity. GC2. Ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in writing. GC4. Ability to search, process and analyze information from various sources. GC6. The ability to evaluate and ensure the quality of the work performed. GC9. The ability to preserve and multiply cultural, artistic, ecological, moral, scientific values and achievements of society based on an understanding of the history and patterns of development of the subject area, its place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society and in the development of society, techniques and technologies, to use various types and forms of motor activity for active recreation and leading a healthy lifestyle. Special (professional, subject) competences: CS1. The ability to apply modern methods of designing single, complex, multifunctional design objects. CS2. The ability to form, layout and model design objects. CS3. Ability to perform composite construction of design objects. CS4. Ability to apply project graphics skills in professional activities. CS6. The ability to apply special techniques and technologies of work in the relevant materials (by specialization) in design and artistic activities. CS7. Ability to use modern software to create design objects.
Learning outcomes: As a result of training, the student must be able to demonstrate the following program learning outcomes: PLO3. Collect and analyze information to justify a design project, apply design theory and methodology, professional terminology (according to professional direction), the basics of scientific research. PLO7. Analyze, stylize, interpret and transform objects to develop artistic and design solutions. PLO8. Evaluate the design object, technological processes in the context of the design task, form an artistic design concept. PLO9. Create design objects by means of design and graphic modeling. PLO10. To determine the functional and aesthetic specificity of form-forming means of design in the communicative space. PLO11. Develop a composite solution of design objects in the appropriate techniques and materials. PLO12. Adhere to design standards and manufacturing technologies of design objects in professional activities. Communication (COM) COM1. Ability to communicate, including oral and written communication in Ukrainian and foreign languages (English, German, Italian, French, Spanish); COM.2 The ability to use various methods, including modern information technologies, for effective communication at the professional and social levels. Autonomy and responsibility (AaR) AaR1. Ability to adapt to new situations and make appropriate decisions. AaR2. The ability to realize the need for lifelong learning in order to deepen the acquired new professional knowledge. AaR3. The ability to take responsibility for the work performed, to make decisions independently, to achieve the set goal in compliance with the requirements of professional ethics. AaR4. The ability to popularize national and world cultural heritage, as well as to promote manifestations of patriotism, national self-awareness and ethno-cultural self-identification. AaR5. The ability to form environmental consciousness and personal culture, to apply ecological principles in life and professional activity.

Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester, a student can score 45 points for individual graphic tasks. At the exam - a maximum of 55 points. To be admitted to the exam, a student must score at least 26 points based on the results of the current control. The exam in the discipline "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is conducted in written and oral form, which involves taking tests in the VNS and oral answers to questions in the discipline. The summation of the test and oral survey gives the number of points of the final control - 55 points. The total amount of points for the exam and graphic work - 100 points.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: When evaluating practical tasks, the quality and completeness of their implementation, understanding of the task and the logic of its solution in a visual form are taken into account; - the ability to select and apply the necessary materials and tools for the implementation of tasks; - the ability to independently work with additional sources, analyze analogues, samples, compare and choose the most appropriate option; - creating a creative solution based on technical and artistic principles; During the examination control, the number of passed tests in the National Security Service, the correctness and logic of the presentation of oral answers to questions are taken into account.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.

Мета вивчення дисципліни: The purpose of teaching the discipline "Fundamentals of design of the subject environment (CP)" for students with a basic education in the specialty "Design": - teach students to master the theory and practice of developing and designing elements of the subject-spatial environment, both in the interior and exterior, as well as in complex design; - develop students' ability to design the environment, modeling the situation depending on the needs of the consumer (function) and always using the same set of equipment (furniture).

Summary of the subject: The course "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is designed for one semester and aims to acquaint students of the basic field of "Design" with the theory and practice of designing elements of subject-spatial environment. During the semester, students perform two tasks where they learn to model the subject-spatial environment in different living conditions.
Опис: Introduction. Basic concepts of the discipline "Designing the subject environment". Setting objectives. Collection of analytical material. Topic 1. Subject-spatial environment of a residential building (yard, atrium of a single-family residential building, etc.). Analysis of the situational scheme and the collected material. Sketching of the scheme of functional zoning. Development of the master plan of the given territory. Processing of individual elements of the environment. Topic 2. Subject-spatial environment of a public building (premises as part of an office with a change of function in relation to needs, etc.): Functional transformation of the subject environment. Analysis of initial conditions (premises, legends): - analysis of collected material; -sketching regarding layout schemes of furniture, equipment, etc., in the room, taking into account the needs of changing the function of the environment. Design of the subject-spatial environment: - development of the plan of the given premises according to the change of functional purpose; Designing individual elements of the subject-spatial environment.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester the student can score 100 points (70 points - task №1, 30 - task №2). The test in the discipline "Fundamentals of subject environment design" is based on the evaluation of semester papers.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: All educational tasks are performed on the B2 format (task #1 is performed by hand graphics - 2 B2 formats, task #2 is performed by hand or computer graphics, at the choice of the student - 1 B2 format). The main requirements for students' works: 1. Correspondence of the work to the assigned task. 2. The composition of the project in its entirety. 3. Functionality and rationality of the proposed solution. 4. Graphic presentation of the project, including project graphics and submission culture. 5. Compliance with the set deadline. Control methods: Evaluation of works is carried out by the teacher. The assessment is based on the division of works by categories from the best to the worst (comparison method). Works are evaluated according to the requirements of points 1-5. Determining the level of students' knowledge is carried out by the following methods of control: evaluation of the student's semester works.
