Summary of the subject: The discipline "Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Part 7" is part of the educational and professional program "Environmental Design", a comprehensive professional training of students of the first (bachelor's) educational qualification level in "Design". The discipline is based on the themes of visual and graphic images, which reveal the basic laws of the process of expression of creative and graphic presentation. The course structurally includes practical and theoretical parts. Having a common goal related to the general training of a student designer, each of the parts has its own specifics, which is manifested in a different sequence of presentation and acquisition of knowledge within the overall structure of the course. With the help of the theoretical part, students are provided with the necessary information related to the problems of graphic and pictorial expression of the form and composition of the subject in the modern environment. Laboratory classes allow students to master the technology of imaging environmental objects, human figures through plastic anatomy, special drawing and painting.
Опис: Task 1. Graphical interpretation of a photo image. Creatively interpret the photo plot by means of drawing various graphic techniques (line, stroke, tone). Task 2. Colorful presentation of the known a painting. Creatively interpret the plot with the means of painting basic picture with respect to the corresponding colors technique and manner. Task 3. Artistic reproduction character of one of the historical or modern styles. Using the means of drawing, creatively present characteristic styles features, taking into account the inherent historical graphics techniques (line, stroke, woodblock, medium block, etching, etc.). Task 4. Bionics. Use color to present a bionic design object selected from an analogue of the natural environment with using stylization. Carry out a tectonic similarity revealing its main content and function.
Assessment methods and criteria: During the semester, a student can score 100 points for completing four graphic tasks. Credit is a mandatory final form of control, which allows you to assess the systematic assimilation of educational material on "Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Part 7" and is reduced to current forms of control. Laboratory tasks are subject to periodic review with recording the stage of their implementation in the journal. Evaluation of works takes place after the end of each task. The average score for classroom tasks is calculated as follows: sum the number of points for each of the tasks and divide by their number.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Compositional location of the image on the format plane, definition of image proportions and general nature of forms (20 points); Proportional relationship between forms, volumes and characters of models (20 points); Linear and tonal perspective of building forms and their components (20 points); Identifying the nature of volumes and their proportions and ratios (20 points); Generalized technique of performing composition on the format by means of drawing and painting (20 points). The total score for one task is 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
