Learning outcomes: As a result of study of discipline a student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic information about the Lviv Polytechnic National University, Academic Institute of Economics and Management; internal regulations of the Lviv Polytechnic National University; main traditions of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, Department of Business Economics and Investment, Academic Institute of Economics and Management and content of the most important elements of their corporate culture. 2. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of structure educational program of specialty structure and organization of educational process; structurally-logical scheme of preparation of specialists on specialty; the educationally-professional program and educationally-qualifying description; productive functions and typical tasks of activity. 3. The ability to demonstrate knowledge of the essence of business structure economics and its significance; essence, types, organizational forms and features of activity of business structures and integrated business structures; directions of activity of business structures; the essence of the business structure as a production system and its organizational structure; features of the modern market environment of the business structure in the market; features of the economic services of the business structure. 4. The ability to form own looks to the studies in an university; to propagandize the achievement of university and him corporate culture. 5. The ability to use the state and branch standards of Ukraine inindustry of education. 6. The ability to summarize information and form going near the decision of tasks after the functions of activity.

Learning outcomes: Based on the study of the discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: 1) identify and plan opportunities for personal professional development; 2) use normative and legal acts regulating professional activity; 3) demonstrate the ability to act socially responsibly and consciously on the basis of ethical principles, to value and respect cultural diversity, individual differences; 4) to master the skills of applying modern methodology and organization of scientific research in economics; 5) the ability to effectively form a communication strategy; 6) responsibility for the professional development of individuals and / or groups of individuals, the ability to further study with a high level of autonomy.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (50%): solving analytical tasks, oral examination, tests, tests. Credit control (50%): written component (30% - testing, theoretical questions), oral component (20%).

Writing a term paper greatly contribute to better assimilation of theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of the course “ Introduction to the profession "Economics ”.
