Learning outcomes: Students are expected to acquire following knowledges: - essence, functions and types of work; - the process of stimulating labor and the concept of its effectiveness; - the main elements of labor; - the nature, forms, types and limits of the division and co-operation of labor; - process of organization and service of workplaces; - standardization methods of labor at the enterprise; - the difference between norms and normation of labor; - forms and systems of labor remuneration in the enterprise; - procedure for selection and development of personnel; - the essence of work and rest regimes; - the process of planning and improving the working conditions of the enterprise. Students are expected to acquire following skills: - to evaluate and analyze the level of satisfaction of employees with the organization of work; - to plan and improve the organization and service of workplaces; - to apply the basic methods of labor valuation at the enterprise; - to use the basic forms and systems of remuneration; - plan the number of staff.
Required prior and related subjects: Prerequisites: Labor economics and social-labor relations, Introduction to speciality: HR management and labor economics, Management of labor potential. Corrections: Normalization of Labor, Labor physiology and psychology, Team (project) Management.
Summary of the subject: Essence, functions, content, main types and characteristics of labor. Concept of labor efficiency and its stimulation. The level of labor satisfaction assessment. The essence and importance of the labor organization. Elements of the labor organization. Concept, essence, types and limits of labor division. Labor cooperation: essence, forms and types. Concepts of the work place and their main types. Organization, planning, equipping and servicing of the workplace. The place of labor valuation in the labor organization. The process of labor normalization, the principles of its implementation, as well as the methods of valuation. Types of norms and norms. Organization of labor remuneration in the labor organization. Personnel: the essence of the concept and species. Planning the number of staff. Organization of recruitment and recruitment, as well as its development. Essence and principles of work organization and rest regimes. Essential content notion "working conditions", factors formation and main types.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (40%): individual written practical exercises, preparation and presentation of thematic projects, interviews. Final exam (60%): test and the oral component.
