Мета вивчення дисципліни: Providing students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills to carry out effective professional activities by ensuring optimal management of occupational health and safety at enterprises (objects of economic, economic and scientific research activities), formation of students' responsibility for personal and collective safety, awareness of the need for mandatory performance in the full scope of all measures to guarantee labor safety at workplaces, formation of theoretical and applied knowledge on legal, economic and organizational issues of human protection from the influence of negative factors of the environment of life and activity.
Завдання: The study of an educational discipline involves the formation of competencies in students of education: general competences: ZK 2. Learning ability. ZK 3. The ability to communicate orally and in writing in the Ukrainian language. ZK 4. Ability to search and analyze information from various sources. ZK 6. Ability to apply knowledge in practical situations. ZK 9. Ability to work in a team. professional competences: FC 1. Ability to apply basic knowledge of fundamental sciences: mathematics, physics, electronics to solve typical problems of the specialty. FC 2. Ability to apply basic knowledge of basic legal acts and reference materials, current standards and technical conditions, instructions and other regulatory documents in the field of information technologies. FC 10. The ability to apply knowledge of the basics of labor protection, industrial sanitation and fire safety when working with equipment and equipment.
Learning outcomes: As a result of studying the academic discipline, the student must be able to demonstrate the following learning outcomes: knowledge: ZN 7. Ability to demonstrate understanding of the impact of technical solutions in the public, economic, social and environmental context. skill: UM 6. Search for information from various sources to solve specialty problems. UM 7. Work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

Summary of the subject: The educational discipline "Fundamentals of labor protection and life safety" is a normative discipline included in the curricula as an independent discipline of compulsory choice. The educational discipline combines the system of knowledge and skills from OP and BZD during activities at economic and household facilities. The discipline is designed to form knowledge, skills and abilities in future specialists regarding the functioning of the system, state and security issues in accordance with current legislative and other regulatory acts. The educational discipline involves the study of issues from OP and BZD in accordance with the peculiarities of the professionalism of future specialists. The outline of the discipline includes issues of the basics of electrical safety, fire safety, issues of occupational hygiene and industrial sanitation at enterprises, risk assessment and their management, issues of ensuring measures to protect people in the event of emergency situations, as well as the legislative framework on issues of occupational health and safety. The study of the discipline provides theoretical knowledge of the basics of human interaction with the environment, forms the ability to analyze the conditions of stay and make adequate decisions regarding personal safety, preservation of health and life of personnel and the population, as well as educates a humane worldview and attitude to people.

Assessment methods and criteria: Current control - (20 %): written reports of laboratory work; (20 %): written reports of practical work Final control - (60 %): Written test work.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: 1. Calculation and graphic work (maximum 10 grades), of which: – structure of the work (Tasks, content, list of used literature and sources (at least 5), conclusions) (1 grade); - the quality of sources of information, the content of the work and conclusions (maximum 1 grade for each theoretical question); – solved problems with relevant explanations, comments and conclusions (maximum 5 grades for each problem); - correctly executed graphic part (3 points). 2. Laboratory works (maximum 5 points), of which: – the generated report (work structure, calculations and calculations, conclusion) (maximum 1.5 points); - theoretical material (testing at the State Security Service) (maximum 3.5 points); 3. Practical works (maximum 5 grades): – generated report: work structure, (maximum 1.5 grades) calculations and calculations, conclusion (maximum 3.5 grades).
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88 points – (“excellent”) is awarded for a high level of knowledge (some inaccuracies are allowed) of the educational material of the component contained in the main and additional recommended literary sources, the ability to analyze the phenomena being studied in their interrelationship and development, clearly, succinctly, logically, consistently answer the questions, the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 87–71 points – (“good”) is awarded for a generally correct understanding of the educational material of the component, including calculations, reasoned answers to the questions posed, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings, for the ability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical tasks; 70 – 50 points – (“satisfactory”) awarded for weak knowledge of the component’s educational material, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation, for weak application of theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 49-26 points - ("not certified" with the possibility of retaking the semester control) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to apply theoretical provisions when solving practical problems; 25-00 points - ("unsatisfactory" with mandatory re-study) is awarded for ignorance of a significant part of the educational material of the component, significant errors in answering questions, inability to navigate when solving practical problems, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
