Мета вивчення дисципліни: The goal of practice on the topic of BKR is to master modern technologies and forms of work organization in the field of thermal energy; on the basis of the theoretical knowledge and practical training acquired during university studies, the formation of professional skills and abilities for making independent decisions in the course of their professional activities; formation of the ability to systematically update one's knowledge and creatively apply it in practical activities; collection and systematization of materials for bachelor's qualification work. This, in particular, involves consolidating and deepening the theoretical knowledge acquired by students during the study of specialized disciplines (Thermal power plants, Boiler installations of thermal power plants, Fuel and the basics of combustion theory, Heat and mass exchange devices of thermal power plants, Turbines of thermal power plants, Modes of operation of thermal power facilities power plants, Heat and mass transfer, Technical thermodynamics, Pumps, fans, compressors, Methods of water preparation at thermal power plants and the water mode of heat-generating installations, Nature protection installations in thermal energy, Operation of thermal energy facilities), study of the principles of equipment operation and methods of conducting research on the topic of a bachelor's qualification work, acquiring professional skills for independent work with scientific literature, conducting theoretical and experimental research, gaining experience in organizational and practical work, etc.
Завдання: The tasks of the practice, which are displayed in the calendar plan of its implementation, may include: • Acquaintance of students with the structure of the practice base (energy enterprise), the work of key structural divisions, the problems of research work and its main results; • Acquaintance with the technological and design documentation of the practice base; • Study of production and economic activities of the practice base, principles of operation of the main and auxiliary equipment, equipment, computing equipment, control and measuring devices and tools, modern materials, new technology used at the enterprise; • Preparing students for independent performance of professional duties and scientific research and development in their specialty; • Study of methods of processing research results using modern software; • Collecting, studying and summarizing information from literary sources related to the topic of the bachelor's qualification work. Determination of the state of research on a scientific problem; • Specifying and substantiating the relevance of solving the problem of bachelor's qualification work research; • Conducting theoretical and experimental research in a specialty according to the subject of the bachelor's qualification work; • Fulfillment of individual tasks issued by the head of BKR; • Others - according to the provisions of the OPP of the specialty.
Learning outcomes: As a result of practice, students must obtain such program learning outcomes, which are provided for by the professional-practical component of the OPP of the specialty. • Program learning outcomes (PL): PL 4 - Analyze and use modern engineering technologies, processes, systems and equipment in the field of heat energy. PL 16 - Understand the non-technical (society, health and safety, environment, economy and industry) consequences of engineering practice. • Autonomy and responsibility (AaR) AaR -1 - Ability to adapt to new situations and make decisions.

Summary of the subject: Practice is a mandatory component of the educational and professional program for the preparation of bachelors in thermal engeenering. It is an important and mandatory link of the educational process and allows to consolidate the knowledge and skills in the specialty acquired during the study of theoretical courses, to ensure the acquisition of professional competences of students, the ability to study independently and carry out scientific works and developments and/or design and construction works , analysis of the results and preparation for their publication, as well as ensuring the competitiveness of graduates during their employment on the Ukrainian and international labor markets.
Опис: Study of regulatory documentation on labor protection and fire safety. Training on labor protection and fire safety with registration in the relevant journal. Acquaintance of students with the structure and problems of the scientific work of the practice base and its main results. Collection, study and generalization of information from literary sources related to the subject of the bachelor's qualification work. Determination of the state of the scientific problem of research. Specifying and justifying the relevance of solving the problem of BKR research. Mastering the principles of equipment operation and research methods. Study of methods of processing research results using modern software. Conducting theoretical and experimental research in the specialty according to the topic of the master's qualification work. Preparation of a written report on the completion of practice and the fulfillment of its tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria: The final evaluation is based on the results of the defense of the written report on practice and on the basis of feedback on the student's work during practice.
Критерії оцінювання результатів навчання: Defense of written reports on practice - 100 points; Total for the discipline - 100 points.
Порядок та критерії виставляння балів та оцінок: 100–88% – awarded for the high quality of the student's work in practice, the high degree of compliance of the report with the requirements of the program and the individual task, a high level of theoretical training, the ability to clearly, succinctly, logically and consistently answer the questions posed; 87–80% – awarded for the quality of the student's work in practice above the average level, a good degree of compliance of the report with the requirements of the program and the individual task, reasoned answers to the questions asked (a small amount of inaccuracies is possible); 79–71% – awarded for the average quality of the student's work in practice, a good degree of compliance of the report with the requirements of the program and the individual task, reasoned answers to the questions, which, however, contain certain (insignificant) shortcomings; 70–61% – awarded for the average quality of the student's work in practice, the average degree of compliance of the report with the requirements of the program and the individual task, poorly reasoned answers; 60–50% – awarded for the low quality of the student's work in practice, the low degree of compliance of the report with the requirements of the program, inaccurate or poorly reasoned answers, with a violation of the sequence of presentation; 49–26% – is set for very low quality of work of the student in practice, inconsistency of the report with the requirements of the program and individual task, significant errors in answering questions; 25-00% - awarded for very low quality work of the student in practice, failure to fulfill the requirements of the program and individual assignment, significant errors in answering questions, ignorance of the main fundamental provisions.
