Learning outcomes: should know the basic principles of mathematical modeling of process and methods of optimization; must be able to: formulate the problem correctly, choose the modeling method, select factors influence response function and optimization criteria, choose the equipment, including the motion of material flow
Required prior and related subjects: Mathematics, Physical and Colloid Chemistry, Processes and Apparatuses of Food Production, Metrology, Standardization and Certification
Summary of the subject: Basic concepts of modeling method. Methods of modeling. Technological process as a system. Some features models and mathematical modeling tasks. Elements of the theory of the experiment. Statistical evaluation and testing hypotheses. The method of least squares. Plan your experiment. Stoichiometry and equilibrium of chemical reactions. The mathematical description of chemical reactions. Construction of multi-kinetic models of chemical reactions of intermediate products. Analysis and description of the processes in the flow. Optimizing processes.
Assessment methods and criteria: Current control (40%) - Tests, oral examination Final control (60%) - the differentiated offset
