Learning outcomes: • know the theoretical bases of technology of food production and own methodology of scientific research; • know methods of chemical and physico-chemical analysis of raw materials and finished food products; • know the design and principles of modern equipment and facilities of food production; • be able to assess the impact of technological factors on the composition of the final product; • be able to communicate the data obtained from the results of mathematical modeling of chemical transformation of organic substances in food production; • be able to control production processes, make rational technical and technological solutions.

Summary of the subject: Methodological and organizational bases of research. Organization of research and scientific research. The choice of research direction and stages of scientific research. Search, accumulation and processing of scientific information. Fundamentals of technical creativity. Basic laws of the creative process. Organizational aspects of scientific activity. Methods of research. Realization experimental research and processing of the results. Ways to optimize scientific experiment. The mathematical processing of research results. The methods of statistical hypothesis checks.
Assessment methods and criteria: • Written control (Tests) - (30%) • final control (70% control measure, test): written-oral form (70%)
