Learning outcomes: - acquisition of basic knowledge of electrical engineering and semiconductor electronics for mastering the disciplines in the field of knowledge "Automobile transport"; - ability to analyze and synthesize practical electric circuits and electronic devices; - the ability to apply electrical and electronic theory in designing elements of automobile systems; - the ability to apply modern methods of measuring electrical and non-electric physical quantities; - to apply the knowledge and practical skills obtained and to adapt the results of scientific research.

Summary of the subject: Basic concepts of electrical circuits. Analysis of DC electric circuits. Analysis of linear sinusoidal current circuits. Three-phase circuits. Transient processes of linear electric circuits. Electrical machines. Semiconductor devices. Logical functions and schemes of their implementation. Analog and digital microelectronic devices.
Assessment methods and criteria: • written reports on the laboratory course, discussion, individual tasks (40%) • final test (60%), control test): written-oral form
